  1. Oh my head is already starting to hurt and we've not even covered the mess that SPFL is going to be make of match date allocations.
  2. That's a brilliant piece of business.
  3. I only chose the cup because I didn't want to jinx it.
  4. Unfortunately, I can recognise the comments made on the ICT support, because I was complaining throughout the game and after that I was disappointed that most around me were happy sitting (lots of kids though). How our whole support behaved as an 8000 strong group was pitiful. We couldn't get though 2 lines of stand up for thd caley jags before folk were flipping down their chairs to get back down again. Even when the pleyers were trying to rowse something extra from us, As an 8000 strong group of ICT fans we offered little more than some clapping and cheering. We just didn't give them 12th man inspiration IMO, to push that tiny bit harder etc. - As for keevins comment on the footy team- nothing I can write without expletives safe to say I disagree.
  5. Too harsh the guys who missed pens this time put a hell of a lot into this game. I like to think we drew the cup!
  6. Repeat top six is fantastic for a club with our resources. Although the players we have can still take us to europe. There is no-one in top six we haven't beaten. ;-)
  7. And whatever happens we will still be there to cheer when the final whistle goes. Thank you.
  8. A club needs a repertoire of current and old faves. One day there'll be enough to fill a CD for the road south every second Sat.
  9. His time will come but I think he'll miss Sundays cut for the bench.
  10. League Cup for all reasons people gave above but most of all because it's a lifelong memory to cherish. 1st Major Cup. To quote an ICT rocker "Write your names down as legends to be" :-D

    Team for Final

Brill Raven Devine Meekings Shinnie Draper Tansey Doran Foran Watkins Mckay Esson Ross Tremarco vincent williams Tough choice (Foran/Tansey/Ross) each offer the team a different quality. Nick keeps the ball so well.

    Team for Final

On a positive note he was part of a clean sheet and made some good interceptions, tackles and headers. Comfortable he can do the business.
  13. I'd have taken nil nil before kick off. Danny Devine and Carl Tremarco stepped in and did not look like fringe players.
  14. Yeah can't wait to get back to Caley park secure top six v hibs and get the utd monkey off our back. Needing an ICT fix before Sun.
  15. To all offenders (if we have any on here)- enough with the kind requests. Get your fingers out and get these guys paid. They are giving up a huge amount of their own time to organise YOUR transport. They have a day out to plan and enjoy too.
  16. Brill Raven Warren Devine Tremarco Doran Foran Polworth Shinnie Ross Mckay. That will give TB enough to think about. More importantly what's the form on the Ref - Stephen Finnie?
  17. Note to club a serious bit of vetting on late ticket sales needed!
  18. Aye thats better. Thats the bounce back. Been sitting bristling and hugging myself along to slow version of titanium since yesterdays full-time playback!
  19. Collum's a ref.............. C'mon I bought a tickets for the Willie Collum show today did you guys not.???
  20. Good call - they must be gutted. 8+hrs since finish and I'm still mulling over all the what ifs past and present.
  21. Seems like Knee jerk reaction re-erectibg this post. But if we lose the final 5-0 due to tactics ..... ;-)
  22. No Dean Brill has been part of what has been solid about Inverness and will come good. Although maybe we should stop passing it back when a forward is within 10 yards for a wee while. I'm starting to watch the game through my fingers too often!
  23. Minute I heard on the radio 4-4-2 I was not full of confidence. Then I saw Willie Collum. Foran should have been holding and Vincent playing in the hole.
  24. Scottish Government have stuck to their preferred position based on fiscal commission report, I really do believe the negativity will wane when a Yes vote is secured, perhaps even before. Watched Crawford Beveridge and he struck me as a reliable and informed source on currency union and as co-author of the fairly detailed fiscal commission report I felt he was able to see past the politics and base his answers on commissions experience of economic reality. In brief and paraphrasing him a bit he basically said if there was a proposition which RUk objected to (currency union) then the first question to be discussed is "what is it in particular that you don't like?" and establish from that both common ground and no-go areas for further talks. All plausible, sensible and practical - His focus was promoting discussion to understand concerns and issues and if need be presenting further info to allay concerns and promote co-operation. But you need two to tango and RUk parties saying its my ball and I'm not playing is not mature politics needed for such an important issue. Other options have been explored and are all workable based on the body of work undertaken by the fiscal commission but currency union was there recommendation. The Yes campaign has more than one view on this issue but currency union is recommendation from Scot Gov based on commission report. I'd argue there is already options for a plan B, C and D too. In my view voting yes only ties Scotland to commitments it made as a post referendum Government. Nothing will be forever and who knows how we all might feel about scottish currency issues and the pound in the future. If enough people wanted to vote for a party promoting the, lets say, "jaggie" as our new currency then we would have it because it will always be our choice as a Scottish Nation with a closer common interest than the Uk as a whole. I truly do think "it will be alright on the night" Hope I live long enough to see the civil service papers in 30 years time which I suspect will be more sensational than even the Macrone Report on some of the behind closed doors politicing and underhand shenanigans from London! Yes
  25. Noooohh - keep the cup away wait until we get our name and year engraved on it! Plenty time for pics then.
