  1. If we draw with Raith the replay would need to be fitted in before the Partick game, but that would still give about 10 days without a game.
  2. So Warren got flattened, went head to head with Ciftci and only Warren got sent off? Anyone would think Scottish officials were shight.
  3. It's not the number of cautions, I think. Each caution attracts a number of points, and you get suspended when you pass a threshold. I thought that cautions were 1 or 2 points and you got suspended at 12 points (most cautions are 2 points) so 6 bookings usually sees you banned, but if Marley was banned after 5 maybe they have changed the rules again. You used to be able to get all this stuff off the sfa website, but I'm darned if I can find it now. So much for transparency!
  4. That's Watkins with 6 league cautions now, so he's due a one-game suspension. But, usually players in that situation are free for the next match and the ban 'kicks in' for the following game. So, I think he'll be okay for Motherwell and the Cup game v Raith, but will miss the Partick Thistle away fixture. But Warren, it seems got a straight red - which means he'll certainly miss the next game. Depending on what the referees report states as the reason for his dismissal, he could get an immediate 2 game (all competition) ban - meaning he'd miss Motherwell and then the cup tie. Won't know for sure until the SFA disciplinary weekly report comes out on Friday! While I'm on here, that was our first score-draw, away from home, under Hughes. (in his 27th league game with us on the road!) Isn't the two game ban thing the next game and then the next game in that competition? If so warren would be available for the Raith game and miss the Partick league match.
  5. Gap is still 7 point - both teams got a point tonight.
  6. The quality of stuff coming out of the BBC when it comes to Scottish football has been annoying me for some time, but tonight really brought things to a head. To say that the commentary lacked impartiality would be an understatement. At one point that fat erse Preston was suggesting that Utd players should go down so that the ref could even things up red card wise. Then after Raven's lucky escape, Nob Maclean said that Raven walked away sheepishly, which wasn't surprising given the club he plays for. Feck the lot of them.
  7. Sneckboy Is it possible to split those between match penalties and shootout penalties?
  8. Not the worst result in the end, but we should, have buried those bustards.
  9. For feck sake. No discipline.
  10. It happened against Partick and St Mirren, teams seem to change their plan for the second half and we can't cope.
  11. Feck sake. The commentary team are really starting to get on my nerves.
  12. Our players really need to calm down.
  13. Rob Maclean is a tw@t
  14. And it sounds like that welt McNamara is greeting.
  15. 1-0. Taney penalty Ya beauty
  16. United keeper off - straight red for a foul on Watkins
  17. We should have been seeded for top 6 considering that is where we finished for the past two seasons. Having said that, they never get it right - shows what a farce the split is.
  18. It did take a deflection, though! I've watched the highlight of that goal four or five times and am still not sure it did get a touch. In real time and from behind the goal it looked clean.
  19. So did I. Different sort of trial.
  20. Think you're right, but would prefer to wait until the outcome doesn't give me brain-ache to calculate! Ross Coumty and Motherwell can both equal our points tally if they draw their remaining game with each other and win all their other games, but in that case, Partick couldn't catch us. So we can now officially look forward to another season in the top flight. Alternatively all we need to do is take something on Tuesday and neither can catch us whatever.
  21. You high bud, raven has been fantastic this season I suppose it speaks volumes for his form this season that people are disappointed with his performance today, but really?
  22. Agree with much of this, but can I check one thing? When you said the ref was inconsistent, you meant clueless and gutless, right?
  23. Jeez. Guy who has had a pretty decent season is a bit below par, so should be punted? And what exactly has Esson done wrong? Lot less bomb scare back passes since he's been in net.
  24. Do I feel robbed? No, we should have been able to defend a bit better. I do feel hard done by however. The first Killie goal was as the result of a speculative shot that took a deflection. The defence didn't track back and left their striker one-on-one with Esson. The free kick that led to the second equaliser was a bit soft I felt, and followed a head shot on Nick Ross that should have been dealt with by the referee but wasn't Killie then got another lucky break when the ball came back off the post and hit Esson on the back and went in. The third came about from some sloppy attacking - that would be my main gripe with us today, we gave the ball away when we had them under pressure too many times - unfortunately we gave the ball away on the halfway line and they scored from the header. Difficult to judge our first two goals as I was at the other end, but the third by Williams was a beauty. That nob Rob Maclean was spouting some pish about it being deflected - dream on no Killie player got near it, including the keeper. And now we come to the waste of a skin that was the referee. WTF did Macgennis have to do to get booked? Every jump that he had no chance of winning was either a barge or an elbow into the defender (in fact all the Killie forwards were guilty of that). The last "challenge" that led to his final warning looked like a clear elbow into Warren. A yellow on its own at the least. That the treatment handed out to Nick Ross went unpunished was appalling. And why did he not need to use his vanishing spray for free kicks on the stand side, but did need to on the far side? His "I'm in charge" talk to Pascali when he was shoving Warren at the free kick they scored from was pointless, considering he then proceeded to do nothing. And what was the added time at the end of the match about? 1 minute which was taken up by the Killie defender rolling about after Meekings was booked. And why was Pascali pulling his own player's shirt at a set piece in the second half? Clumsy attempt to con the ref?
  25. Ross was getting kicked all over the park with no protection from the ref. I guess that had a bit to do with it.
