  1. Andy Walker is a tw@t
  2. I make it 19 Home, 19 Away - we have played 16 H & A so far, and have a Home game v Utd TBA. The post-split games are 2 H & 3 A.
  3. It was. The ball spent most of the time going sideways, and the defence looked suspect.
  4. This is our third appearance in the Scottish Cup Semis
  5. So that's four points we have taken from Celtic this season, which is four more than the challengers elect have managed. The next time the sheep apologists start bleating on about their title challenge, they would do well to remember if it wasn't for the likes of ourselves, Dundee Utd and Hamilton, then they'd need a telescope to see Celtic.
  6. Like the SPFL give a toss about that!
  7. Phone in sick?
  8. While that was miles better than the Partick game (no three centre backs again please) the crowd was pretty subdued.
  9. How is Katie Price?
  10. I think the cup winners enter Europe a round later. If Celtic win the league and cup, that would transfer to second place. Can't see us finishing second, so the only way to start a round later is by wining the cup.
  11. One of its legs are both the same?
  12. I would take issue with 5. I don't think we have seen enough to draw a conclusion.
  13. Yeah, but given Utds collapse, we should be out of sight in third.
  14. If the stats say we were lucky to get a draw then the stats are lying. Dundee looked liked they had cone for a point in the first half, and we didn't start playing til they scored. After that, we were the better side. Collum isn't any less of a nob either.
  15. Aw baws.
  16. Or we could just win the cup, making the whole issue academic.
  17. I am right in thinking that the North for them and the South for us are the same price so what the hell are they on about? Just checked, and yes it is the same - so £15 behind the goals, £23 down the sides. I don't see what the problem is, but since it is so unlike Celtic to complain, there must be one.
  18. It's a big game. it's Hampden. Bring it on!
  19. No thanks. Reduces the chance of an upset.
  20. In the old days, when the semis took place at 3 on a Saturday typically one was at Hampden, and the other at a different neutral venue. The FA Cup was always at neutral venues that weren't Wembley (eg Liverpool v Forest @ Hillborough in 89). When Spurs and Arsenal were drawn together in the early 90s I think they were going to play it at Villa Park, but there was a big fuss and the game was moved to Wembley. Then there was another big fuss over the winner of that game having an advantage by playing at Wembley before the final. I can't remember if they moved the other semi that year, but after that the semis and finals were played at Wembley, or the Millenium Stadium while Wembley was being rebuilt.
  21. While not all semis used to be at Hamden, the games that attract bigger crowds used to be played there. There is no way a Scottish Cup Semi against Celtic would be played anywhere other than Hampden if it was available. But the point is they don't have to be. This game could be played at a neutral venue, not in Glasgow, be a sell out and would still be able to be seen on TV. Atmosphere would be miles better that will be generated at Hampden. Still maintain the SFA could have had our game on the Saturday which would have been a bit better than the Sunday. On a personal level, having the game on a Sunday makes it more difficult for me to travel to so am in danger of not being able to attend. Having been at all our major cup semi finals before, this really annoys me. Where outside Glasgow could you play a semi final involving Celtic? Given that income from both semis is split between all four teams, don't the SFA have a responsibility to maximise revenues? I agree that we have been done over with the game being on a Sunday, but I really don't know where else you suggest they play our match.
  22. Short programme tonight?
  23. Christie had a couple of chances in the first half. One of which he didn't connect with cleanly, otherwise I think he would have scored. We got into good positions a few times too, but wanted too much time to get the shot away and were closed down quickly.
  24. The balance was all wrong. We had five defenders and two sitting midfielders. The width was supposed to be provided by the fullbacks, but Williams was playing wide too. When we got the ball there were few options to go forward which meant we either passed sideways or hoofed it forward speculatively.
  25. The break looked to have done us no favours. We looked really ring rusty. The formation did not work, we spent far too much time passing the ball from side to side again. Partick looked to be playing for a point from the start of the second half, but we didn't do enough to deserve anything from the game. A special mention for the referee. Steven MacLean is starting to make Collum look good.
