  1. Wish him all the best, if the transfer comes through. Hope he is still around for Saturday and signs off with a hatrick!!
  2. Yes there was. It started out in 1995 as the Thistle Inn Supporters Club back in the Telford Park days. They were mostly season ticket holders & used to hire minibuses to travel to a lot of away games, sponsor players, enjoy hospitality to put some money back into the club? It was the first official supporters club before Dougie McGilvray poached its Chairman to start the Caley Thistle Supporters Club. Once the Thistle Inn changed from the high class establishment it once was and very few of it's members drank there anymore, it changed its name to ICT94 Supporters Club. Unfortunately about 3 years ago, due to members losing interest, moving away, etc. it was disbanded.
  3. Full draw - CELTIC V ST JOHNSTONE DUNDEE UTD v HEARTS RANGERS v INVERNESS CT ABERDEEN v ST MIRREN 4 away wins would be good??
  4. Dont rush - from Wick Academy web-site. Wick Academy v Inverness Caley Thistle Tuesday 17th April Postponed The friendly between Wick Academy and Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Tuesday 17th April is postponed due to a water-logged pitch. Academy's next scheduled game is home to Huntly on the 21st April. Last Updated ( Tuesday, 17 April 2012 )
  5. Speaking to some Wickers at the weekend, this game is part of the transfer deal for signing Shane Sutherland - it's taken a few years to arrange, but they're looking forward to it. I hope ICT take some first team players and give any recovering from injury a run out???
  6. Hi captain, I'm coming out to Perth in December, if you fancy a pint and talk all things Caley? Maybe even watch a game on a website, if none on sky?
  7. Will the SPL start next season at the end of May to give our teams a better chance in europe??? Also I hear there is a new Rangers whisky - Whyte & McCoist - they've already bottled it in Europe!!!
  8. Must admit i like the top, but not sure about the see-through shorts!!!!
  9. Apologies if this has appeared before, but I'm not a frequent visitor! Could this be a hint to a new signing?
  10. I think I have a video of the whole game which was shown on Sky? if anyone can convert to modern media I think i can unearth it?
  11. ICT started well and looked impressive, but deteriorated to a mediocre display. Thought Eagle looked lightweight & didn't get into game until he took an elbow & went off! Melvin looked most impressive trialist with plenty flicks and speed. Could be a good signing, but will know more if he gets match fit? De Wagt looked light a cumbersome Bobby Mann, good in air and nice passes, but slow and gave away too many fouls. Narius Bulvitis - I beilieve you get a cream to cure it!! foran took goals well and should've scored more - as for Barrowman - would look ok playing for Buckie?
  12. In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name. For example, the trade name of Panadol also has a generic name of Paracetamol. Amoxil is also call Amoxicillin and Nurofen is also called Ibuprofen. The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin. Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one. Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails', 'highballs' and just a good old-fashioned 'stiff drink'. Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO. Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky Boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them. -------------------------------------------------- Paddy has broken his leg and his mate Mick goes round to see him. Mick says "how ya doin?" Paddy says "do us a favour, nip upstairs and get mey slippers, mey feet are freezin" Mick goes upstairs and see's Paddy's two gorgeous 19-year-old twin daughters sitting on the bed. He says "ye dad's sent me up 're to shag both of ya" They say "get away with ya.. prove it." Mick shouts downstairs "Paddy, both of 'em?" Paddy shouts back "of course both of 'em, what's the point of f****n one?"
  13. I know there have been many threads in the past about a new club song, but listening to the radio at work I heard the Eagles 'Hotel California' and thought it sounded like our new mangement team? Here's the words to the song - (with a couple of minor changes) There they stood in the doorway; I heard the ref?s whistle. And I was thinking to myself : "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell" Then the jags kicked off and started to play. There were voices from the stand I thought I heard them say: Welcome to Mo n Tel?s Caledonion Such a lovely place, such a frantic pace. You?ll get no points at Mo n Tel?s Caledonion Any time of year may you come in fear. I know, I have not enough work!!!!
  14. I have had a season ticket every year since 1996, but for personal reasons couldn't afford one at start of season. Thought about getting one for 2nd part of season? BUT - the Dundee Utd game was my only attendance this year and will be my last as long as Looster is in charge. I know of others who wont be back until he leaves - poor situation with only 1 solution - SACK BREWSTER NOW and let new manager see the problems so he can bring in new players in January. Hopefully it won't be too late by then!!!!!
  15. By far the best beer has to be Black Isle Brewery - Red Kite - can be ordered on line too! Worst beer Black Cuillen - like tar!
  16. Doesn't sound like a 6ft giant, but replacement for Barry???? Michael Barnes is a pacy winger from Chorley, in the North-west of England. Barnes signed scholarship forms in December 2005 and has since graduated through the youth ranks at the club and has now progressed to Reserve team football. The lightning-fast winger is an integral part of the Reds' second string, and was given his big break by Sir Alex Ferguson as a second half substitute in the first team's Carling Cup win at Crewe in October 2006. Comfortable with either foot, Michael is one of the Reserves' most dangerous attacking weapons, and scored his first competitive goal for Brian McClair's side against Wigan Athletic, just six days before his first-team outing. An integral part of the Reserves set up, Michael will hope to bewitch opposing defences with United for years to come.
  17. Heard from a good source, who heard from a good source, who heard from a good source, so this must be true - Scott Morrison from Dunfermline is signing in the summer! Just exactly what we need - another left back! (just did a spell check, coz I'm fik, and it doesn't recognise Dunfermline - asked if I wanted to change it to downfallen? How appropriate :rotflmao:)
  18. Gretna divorce could impact on SPL table Gretna's future as a going concern was a matter for debate last night. Their management team of Davie Irons and Derek Collins jumped ship yesterday - the day after it became apparent that the club had been unable to pay the wages of their 60-strong staff - to take charge of Morton, a club which faces the threat of relegation to the Second Division. In their absence, director of football Mick Wadsworth has taken temporary charge of first-team affairs but the 57-year-old revealed yesterday that he hopes to take up a senior post with the Canadian football authorities. The ability of Gretna to continue to function is dependent on the funding from benefactor Brooks Mileson, whose health problems have triggered the current crisis. No member club has ever gone into liquidation during the 10 seasons of the SPL's existence but, should Gretna suffer that fate, their results from this season could be expunged, according to SPL sources last night. "If a club has not fulfilled its obligation to the league, then it will be a matter for the SPL board to decide what course of action to take," said an SPL insider. "Obviously, this is a situation which has not arisen before and we don't want to make matters worse by pre-judging anything." The ruling body are considering every eventuality for the Borders club but if they fail to fulfil their fixture against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday -or any of their 13 remaining matches - then their previous meetings with the remaining member clubs will almost certainly be ruled null and void. Dundee United, who have lost twice to Gretna this season, would benefit more than anyone since Motherwell, their chief rivals for a Uefa Cup spot, would lose the nine points gleaned from three victories against Gretna, leaving them eight points adrift of Craig Levein's team as opposed to one ahead.
  19. The one thing i would like to change would be the main stand - no, not face it out to sea, but complete the ends to give proper protection from north winds to all in that stand and make it look a proper stadium! That's not too boring is it :symbol_question:?
  20. Heard from an Arab that there was a clause in the sale of Barry Robson to Dundee Utd that Inverness were entitled to money if he was sold on? Could be ?50k or 10% of transfer fee? Can anyone clarify? Brewster could do with the money and if it is 10% then that could be upto ?150k :003: :003:
  21. According to BBC website games will take place 12th or 13th January.
  22. If and when Boruc leaves Parkhead in the summer it'll come down to a straight fight between Broonie and Marshall for top spot. who's the better keeper :024:. Brown has weakness's but is a good shot stopper and has improved in coming for crosses, but Marshall is more dominating in his box and has saved a penalty in the past. His finding himself again spell at Norwich could move him ahead of MB in the ratings? But I still wish him all the best and hope he enjoys his new track suit!! :014:
  23. Does this mean Charlie will be in line for move to Ipox??? :015:
