  1. There should have been more bookings for Annan players. Mckay got booked for querying a decision and the Annan player Manager did the same and no action. Some of their tackles were as bad as Devine’s deserved booking but no cards. And young Macleod’s booking was very soft. I thought the ref was very poor and inconsistent, bottling some key decisions. But, it’s history now. We won!
  2. Playing catch up a bit with Highland League scorers, on 5 October Brad Mckay for Brechin, Iain Vigurs for Banks O’Dee and both Harry Nicolson and Josh Meekings for Clach. Vigurs got another on 12 October, the only one I noted for that day in the HL.
  3. I thought we deserved the win, but once again we made hard work of it in the second half. We dominated the first half and should have had more than one goal. One definite penalty was not given, possibly two (I wasn’t sure if the other incident was in or just outside the box). Devine took his goal well and led the back line with, as others have said, MacKinnon also having a good game. Allan also looked good to me. We allowed ourselves to get hemmed in after the break but Annan were fortunately toothless. With the 15 point penalty, next week’s game at Dumbarton becomes a real six pointer as we try to get ourselves back into the pack. Well done to all who played a part today. It must be tough with all the uncertainties at present. There were also some boos for young Ferguson in the main stand. Totally unnecessary and unjustified behaviour towards a young player trying to make his way in the game.
  4. Ayr @ 2.15 please.

  6. According to Reporting Scotland just now, the Cullen guy has until 1200 tomorrow to make a formal bid and the Board Meeting is at 1500.
  7. Ryan Christie for Scotland tonight.
  8. Sky Sports making a “pig’s ear” of reporting it too. Despite different scores being shown on BBC, Sky and Live Score, all of which were wrong, we lost 5-4 on penalties. A better outcome than most of us expected. It will be good to hear how we did.
  9. Nikolay Ujdur for Queens Park last night.
  10. I’m not going to waste any more of my valuable time or energy on that man.
  11. Austin Samuels has joined Morton on a short term deal until January.
  12. Or he’s donating his net pay back to the club, but tax and NI contributions are being taken off his gross pay as normal.
  13. If an administrator is appointed, I’d expect changes to the backroom team to take place quickly and that Ferguson, Bollan etc would be early “casualties”, replaced with a smaller, locally based back office team.
  14. We really can’t assume that. Mark Ridgers has offered his signed cup final gloves to help raise funds, Ryan Christie has been suggested to be the £20k donor, and some of the anonymous donors may well be players, former players or others associated with the club who understandably don’t want their names to be shown on the list we can see.
  15. Stronger Together was set up specifically to buy shares in the club, and the funds raised are ring fenced for that purpose. In recent weeks, the Trust has funded the revamp of Bar 94 and supplied new signage, including the updating of the main sign at the stadium to reflect the 30th anniversary.
  16. If you wanted a ticket but couldn’t get one, I suggest you e-mail the SLO.

  18. Queen of the South @ 23/20 please.
  19. Last night, Andrew MacRae for Brora and Josh Meekings for Clach in the North of Scotland Cup, and Iain Vigurs for Banks O’Dee in the Aberdeenshire Cup.
  20. That opportunity already exists with the Stronger Together initiative that the Supporters Trust launched earlier in the year. Funds are held by the Trust with a view to buying shares in the club.
  21. In the thread with their statement tonight, the Supporters Trust has advised that they have taken this suggestion on board and are happy to compile a list of questions. To aid them compiling the list, they’ve asked that questions be sent by e-mail to: [email protected].
  22. I don’t think that would be hard from what I’ve read!
  23. We go to Arbroath next week. They’ve already scored 4 at Cove in the late game today. Dows that mean getting a 0-0 there will be DF’s objective so he can boast about keeping a free scoring team from scoring?
  24. It was looking good for you until the 89th minute, then your inspiration seemed lost, until Draper’s intervention and a 94th minute equaliser! Unlike ICT you will have soared up the league today!
