I thought we deserved the win, but once again we made hard work of it in the second half.
We dominated the first half and should have had more than one goal. One definite penalty was not given, possibly two (I wasn’t sure if the other incident was in or just outside the box).
Devine took his goal well and led the back line with, as others have said, MacKinnon also having a good game. Allan also looked good to me.
We allowed ourselves to get hemmed in after the break but Annan were fortunately toothless.
With the 15 point penalty, next week’s game at Dumbarton becomes a real six pointer as we try to get ourselves back into the pack.
Well done to all who played a part today. It must be tough with all the uncertainties at present.
There were also some boos for young Ferguson in the main stand. Totally unnecessary and unjustified behaviour towards a young player trying to make his way in the game.
