  1. Can’t see White being loaned out so soon after joining Motherwell. I agree that Chalmers is a good signing for Ayr though.
  2. Ventured across the bridge today (sacrilege I know) but good to see the next game board showing our home game against Cowdenbeath on it. I assume it will be with no fans, but a visible sign that our team is alive and, hopefully, we get at least some season ticket holders at games before too long. We can hope!
  3. He scored over 9 in the player rater on the BBC Sport app: I assume Celtic fans voted for him!! I see Vigurs gifted Celtic a goal too.
  4. All I know (from a google search) is that Fyffe is a defender whilst Nicolson is a left back. Don’t know if Fyffe can play right back or whether he is a centre half.
  5. Excellent news. Look forward to reading it.
  6. Ryan Fyffe and Harry Nicolson, both released when their contracts expired in June, have signed new deals with the club.
  7. Not sure what we get from a Platinum sponsor but it hopefully helps us to have financial security and perhaps we can now get a right back: https://ictfc.com/new-partnership-announced
  8. Well that was a hard watch. The Czech Republic were by far the better team tonight, and all bar two were debutants and they were only called up yesterday. With two class left backs, why are we playing a back three that includes a midfielder out of position? With the same starting line up, a 4 5 1 or 4 4 2 would have been more sensible with Palmer and Robertson playing full back and McTominay in midfield. We got a very lucky penalty (scored by Christie) or this would have been another night of great embarrassment. David Marshall has several good saves and the woodwork saved us at least once. The Czechs has 19 attempts compared to our 6. Only bright spot was Dykes instinctive run for his goal. We need to revert to a back 4 when we play Israel in the play off.
  9. Another international penalty for Christie tonight. That said, the penalty should not have been awarded. Another uninspiring performance so far.
  10. Graeme Shinnie came off the bench and scored in the penalty shoot out as Derby beat Barrow.
  11. Armstrong came off the bench but a pretty uninspiring performance which does not bode well for the qualification play offs coming up.
  12. And opens the scoring, showing how to take a penalty.
  13. May be of interest: http://www.hflhub.co.uk/index.php/2682-highland-league-2020-21-season-update
  14. This is what the club said back on 2 June: https://ictfc.com/end-of-season-2019-20-squad-update
  15. I’m sure I read they were released so they could sign for other clubs if opportunities arose after their contracts expired in June. I’m not sure whether furlough would have applied from 1 July or not but there were hints some could be signed back on. Fyffe is a defender and was named player of the year at Fort William. Not sure if he can play right back. Brown is a midfielder.
  16. Oh dear, Carl Tremarco sent off for two yellow cards in County’s defeat at Livingston. Donaldson, Draper, Vigurs and Mckay also started the game.
  17. Hope you didn’t Alan. He’s not fit yet and not in their squad as a result.
  18. Update I’m away kit now on club website: https://ictfc.com/20-21-away-kit-available-in-store-from-tuesday
  19. Is Going Ballistic still available anywhere?
  20. Thanks Scotty. I may inadvertently have hit the “report post” icon. If I did, it was totally accidental as I was looking for the pre order link. Hopefully there is enough interest and support to get it into print.
  21. Polworth on the mark for Motherwell tonight in the Europa League, with Hayes scoring for Aberdeen.
  22. After spending most of the season on the bench, Polworth may now get a run of starts with Turnbull signing for Celtic.
  23. Once again we have a high profile player in trouble, with bad publicity for the game at a time it is not needed. If reports about the incident are true, and as he was found guilty we must assume they are, it seems an unsavoury incident, compounded by him trying to use his status to buy his way out of trouble. England should not have selected him given the live court case and have, rightly, dropped him. Manchester United now need to show what stance they are taking on it. Money and power seem to have taken away any sense of humility or understanding of right and wrong that he ever had. After his part in Leicester’s unexpected title win a few years ago, when he became a role model, how the mighty have fallen.
  24. Oh for players of that calibre today.....
  25. I’m no cricket fan but that is a tremendous achievement.
