  1. Why not, I like watching us win! Hopefully we turn Hearts over too!!
  2. Think back a week or two to Robbo’s comments about how the pandemic is affecting him personally and how he feels for the players, many of whom have not seen their families for months. Everyone on here showed support then, and we need to maintain that support, however the season turns out. We should have seen last night out and won, but our away form is poor this season, with 4 points out of 15, and we don’t seem able to keep our momentum for the full 90 minutes. We had a good first half, so if we can find a way of maintaining that level of performance for full games we will not be too far away. However, the challenge is achieving that. The next week or two will make or break our season. If we can put a run together, we will be back in touch as all the other teams are also dropping points. Roll on Saturday! Hopefully the pitch is covered, they have sorted the patch that caused the problem last Saturday, and we get a morale boosting win.
  3. Our home game with Hearts has been moved to Friday 26 February with a 1945 kick off and will be live on BBC Scotland. As our best performance this season was the TV game away to Queen if the South, hopefully we get a repeat!
  4. I noticed he was not in the Motherwell squad last night.
  5. That sums our season up. Ahead, playing well, opposition goes down to 10. And we can’t win. Good game overall, but we under performed badly again in the second half. Yes, the pitch was poor and we have not played for a month, but that game was there for the taking.
  6. Oh Toddy: how did he not get a touch and put it in?
  7. MacGregor on for Mackay.
  8. Hate to say it, but I can see us losing this.
  9. Keatings and Toddy on for Doran and Allardice.
  10. That equaliser had been coming. We need to get a grip! Credit Morton. Good play. We just can’t keep the ball or do anything good with it this half.
  11. Morton shading the second half so far. We need to make 11 v 10 count.
  12. Could have been a penalty for us for handball there. Now it’s raining the pitch will get worse. Large parts are quite sticky already.
  13. Decent half of football with both teams trying to play football. Our quick equaliser was very important as Morton started very quickly. This game is not won, despite them being down to 10. We need to play the whole game tonight. Vincent’s performance has been a pleasant surprise and good to see Sutherland playing centre forward. MacKay’s goal the pick of the action so far.
  14. Morton goal disallowed for push by player before he headed it in. Nice to see the odd decision going our way!
  15. My immediate reaction was “that’s a booking”. Agree the commentators took it well. We need to continue playing and not let this slip.
  16. Deserved. Two professional fouls.
  17. Looks that way. Sutherland up top and 5 in the middle when not in possession with Doran wide left and Mackay wide right. Welsh and Allardice sitting deeper in the main.
  18. Thanks. BBC say Doran which is why I doubled myself.
  19. Great goal. 2-1 up. Dan Mackay with good finish from Sutherland (I think) through ball.
  20. 1-1. Sutherland with cool finish in box. Teed up by Vincent.
  21. We are actually playing a game!! But 1 behind in third minute. We’ve not been out of our own half so far. Shot inside the box after scrappy play in the box after a free kick.
  22. You missed my reference to beer. I may make comments along the way but they may get less coherent so best that someone else tries to do the report!!
  23. I’ve paid Morton £14 for the game tonight. I hope the players make it worthwhile. After all the postponements, I’m really looking forward to it and, with it being an evening game, the beer is chilling already for kick off.
  24. HT 0-1 FT 1-2 ICT Sutherland Morton Nesbit Yellow McGinty
  25. The path I was following went straight into the grounds, but I followed prints in the snow to get to the road leading to the property rather than going any closer to it. I know the cafe at the farm too and was there a few times in previous summers. Oh for being able to live a normal life again!
