I thought Devine was ok cover for Warren and Meekings. He was quite young I think so will have matured and developed in the meantime. Doubt Meekings will come back north, after that spot of trouble he had, although I’m sure he was found not guilty, but you never know. It would be good if we could attract and afford someone of his quality again.

That’s what I like, we can dream, and I will live it if that comes true. As others have said, all teams are entering the unknown and we have some good youngsters who need to step up. My priority is that the club does whatever necessary to survive and if that means taking a step or two backwards so be it if we can come back stronger. What they need us our support through any tough times ahead, even if we have a poor season or two. I just hope we get some clarity from the Government as to the way ahead in tomorrow’s roadmap and the club can then start to look at what squad they can assemble. Let’s be realistic about where we are: success next season will be a bonus.

A very strong, considered statement and hopefully justice is done in the near future. No doubt, as and when we start playing again, we will get even fewer decisions going our way. Or am I a cynic??

None of our players made the top 11. 8 from Dundee United plus Forrest from Ayr, Nisbet from Dunfermline and Dorrans from Dundee.

As others have said, probably an inevitable outcome but now our hopes of promotion are dashed. At least the focus can now be on how the club survives and what football will look like in the future, whenever games are able to resume. With social distancing, presumably we will need to keep 2 metres apart, so only around 25% if capacity will be available in grounds and we will all have to move seats. What sort of squad will we have? Looking at those out of contract, we will barely have 11 experienced players available so youngsters should get a chance. Hopefully we do survive (possibly only part time?), but many other clubs may not so some form of reconstruction may happen anyway. Whenever football restarts, with or without fans, next year could be very tough and may determine our place in the football pecking order for some time to come.

There has just been a piece on Reporting Scotland which referred to threats without naming clubs. A meeting on Tuesday will determine if an inquiry takes place.

Is it possible that all players who’s contracts expire next month are not having them renewed at this time due to the uncertainty over the game and therefore revenue? Does anyone have the list of who’s contracts expire this summer (sorry, I can’t locate it)? Possibly as and when things improve there may be scope to offer terms to players out of contract: who knows!

I hope that is not the case: what is the source of the information? He took a pay cut when he renewed his contract after relegation so I would hope we can give him an extension when his contract expires. As it is almost two months until then, I hope this is just rumour and speculation.

The BBC Sport website and app are looking for votes for the Championship team of the season. We have 8 players in the lists (well 7 plus McCart): Ridgers. Rooney, Tremarco, McCart, Trafford, Doran, Keatings and White. I put all 8 in my team (biased??), but feel Carson, Welsh and Walsh should have been on the list too.

Not sure. There is a list somewhere showing when all contracts expire but I can’t locate it. Goodness knows what our squad will be or when we will next have a match but I hope we all get behind whoever is playing, whether experienced players or youngsters. As others have said, survival has to be the club’s focus and anything more must be seen as a bonus. Most other teams are in the same position. I am undecided on reconstruction. Going up would be good but we could be the whipping boys and come straight back down. I wish White well. No one can question his commitment and, unlike some, I think he has done a pretty good job for us. Storey up front could be interesting: he can’t head the ball either... lol!!
