  1. Don’t know what happened there! My grandson at only his second home game. First time he watched the game as opposed to playing with his seat. He wanted a burger at half time and was shocked it was not a kiddie’s one from McDonalds and took 20 minutes to eat it. And we won!
  2. In ICT colours an AEC Reliance on the Highland fleet. No idea where though.
  3. Don’t know where is it taken but that’s a Leyland Titan from the Alexander Northern fleet.
  4. The news tonight said no European places unless the season is completed. Sounded like an ultimatum. With all the uncertainty, goodness knows how the SFA/SPFL can respond to that. Whilst it may not suit us, surely all leagues should be voided and we start again next season. That way players contracts can expire and they can find new clubs and clubs can sign players. The season may need to have a delayed start but so be it Anything else will be a total mess. Life comes before football at these times.
  5. Wow, I was away from the area then so really enjoyed that. Class finishing!
  6. Do we know how they have dealt with promotion and relegation? They only had one league game left, but do they not normally split for play offs?
  7. Strange, that was what mine looked like when I turned the page this morning! Lol!!
  8. Thanks guys, he seems past the worst of it so fingers crossed! It brings it all home though when you know someone affected in a serious way. Stay safe all!
  9. I can’t work out how to copy a post I’ve made on the serious discussion thread but today my best man is in isolation in Raigmore waiting for his test results. It just brings it home how close to all of us this virus is. Take care all and follow the advice. Don’t be complacent.
  10. Don’t know how to copy the post but I’ve given my thoughts on the serious discussion thread. My best man from my wedding 24 years ago is in isolation in Raigmore waiting for his test results. He has underlying health conditions. Makes you realise how close to home this is.
  11. That’s great to hear. The country at its best. Worrying times but we will come through it, hopefully better for it as a society, and our economy will recover in time. I feel for those losing jobs but credit the government (never thought I would say that about Westminster or Holyrood) for putting the furlough scheme in place so hopefully most people keep an income. My best man from my wedding 24 years ago is in isolation in Raigmore waiting for test results. He has underlying health issues. It really brought it home to me how close to home this is Football is secondary at this time, but I hope our squad is being looked after and our club survives this troubling time. I can’t imagine life without Caley Thistle and I’m sure we will survive. Personally I don’t care what the powers that be do with the season now. Life is more important. If it gets voided and we start again next year in the Championship with whatever squad we can afford, so be it. A few weeks ago, I had hoped to be drinking beer celebrating a cup win tonight and looking forward to that play offs. That seems a lifetime ago and very selfish and insignificant hopes and thoughts now. Take care all, don’t be complacent, follow the advice, and I hope to see you at the ground at some time in the future.
  12. I wonder if the game will ever be played. I love football and this site is a tonic at these hard times.
  13. I’m no expert but our company guidance says it does not apply to anyone who has started from 28 February. There will be guidance on line at gov.uk so try google maybe?
  14. Not sure if this may be a signal of how other decisions will be made and less of an impact than promotion and relegation issues but Brora have been declared Highland League champions: http://www.hflhub.co.uk/index.php/2677-brora-rangers-declared-highland-league-champions
  15. If you started the job before 28 February you should be covered by furloughing.
  16. Heard on radio earlier that a lot of clubs are furloughing players and the SFA have given advice. Don’t know if we are or how many of ours earn more than the £2500 per month limit. Article said it could help to keep a lot of smaller clubs alive.
  17. And now Boris has it along with his Health Secretary and possibly the Chief Medical Officer. This is serious, goodness knows whether we have acted too slowly, at the right time or too quickly, I would hate to have their jobs. Encouragingly, went to Tesco tonight for essentials (and beer) and everyone was being sensible and keeping a distance from everyone else. Hopefully the complacency of the last few weeks has gone and we can work together to get through this, royal, politician or football fan. Lets support each other on here too. Stay safe all!
  18. Really great to read this post. Credit to the club. Hopefully they get positive media and social media coverage of it which may help our positioning as a community club.
  19. Some great reminders of games on the club’s twitter feed. Also the full cup final and a great one liner from Captain Carl “great to see the last 15 minutes for the first time”. Stay safe all and follow the guidance strictly.
  20. I doubt it was fans that committed the thefts.
  21. I agree. Hope it gets plenty support.
  22. A lot of people are self isolating but only a minority actually ha e the virus.
