  1. For the record, it was said with my tongue firmly in my cheek after a couple of bud lights!!
  2. I have been on the club website just now. Whilst I have voted, it was showing me the options again so may be worth trying again if you’ve not managed to vote yet.
  3. Richie Foran???? Lol!!
  4. That highlights how survival is our single priority. Goodness knows what the structure will be and what our place in it will be. Still more questions than answers and I suspect that will be the case for some time to come. Heard on the radio earlier that an 18 game Championship starting after Christmas is a possibility too.
  5. Can’t remember it’s name but the one on the old road that goes round to Moy from Daviot?
  6. I had no problems when I voted. I went for Ridgers and Harper.
  7. Voting is now open on the club website until 2 June: https://ictfc.com/player-of-the-year-2019-20-voting-open-now The options are Mark Ridgers, Shaun Rooney, David Carson, Aaron Doran and James Keatings. The young player options are Cameron Harper, Roddy MacGregor, Ross Gunn and Daniel Mackay.
  8. I totally get it and the focus has to be on survival. However, the time will come (hopefully) when there is a timeline to games starting and at that time there will be players looking for clubs and wage expectations will have dropped. Our own out of contract players will be in the same boat. Whatever happens, it will probably be a much smaller squad with more need for the youngsters to feature and get decent game time. I just hope the club is still alive when games restart.
  9. Looks like the Caramel Wafer cup final may go ahead at some point: https://ictfc.com/club-update-tunnocks-caramel-wafer-challenge-cup-final
  10. I thought Devine was ok cover for Warren and Meekings. He was quite young I think so will have matured and developed in the meantime. Doubt Meekings will come back north, after that spot of trouble he had, although I’m sure he was found not guilty, but you never know. It would be good if we could attract and afford someone of his quality again.
  11. That’s what I like, we can dream, and I will live it if that comes true. As others have said, all teams are entering the unknown and we have some good youngsters who need to step up. My priority is that the club does whatever necessary to survive and if that means taking a step or two backwards so be it if we can come back stronger. What they need us our support through any tough times ahead, even if we have a poor season or two. I just hope we get some clarity from the Government as to the way ahead in tomorrow’s roadmap and the club can then start to look at what squad they can assemble. Let’s be realistic about where we are: success next season will be a bonus.
  12. That’s a Ford R1114 with an Alexander 49 seat coach body. Fleetnumber T102. How sad am I!! Pictured at Farraline Park, although I don’t recall buses being able to exit that way, but I did live in the Fort at the time.
  13. And we have Daniel Mackay back from his loan spell who will hopefully have developed and be ready for a regular starting place.
  14. Any more clues??
  15. Is Harper not contracted for next season too?
  16. If the ugly sisters are in agreement, it is possible that common sense will prevail. Time will tell.
  17. We are two weeks from the 5th anniversary of our cup win. I hope the club streams the full match in real time on the day and the Sunday celebrations (which I missed as sobering up in Glasgow). Lets get our photos ready to post on the day.
  18. A great gesture by the club to all the NHS staff and key workers. Blue is the colour many prominent buildings get lit up in to show that support As CEO, will it not be that Gardiner is not necessarily a Director?
  19. Daily Record report on our statement: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inverness-caledonian-thistle-offer-threat-22004296
  20. A very strong, considered statement and hopefully justice is done in the near future. No doubt, as and when we start playing again, we will get even fewer decisions going our way. Or am I a cynic??
  21. Not only seat gaps but row gaps too.
  22. None of our players made the top 11. 8 from Dundee United plus Forrest from Ayr, Nisbet from Dunfermline and Dorrans from Dundee.
  23. As others have said, probably an inevitable outcome but now our hopes of promotion are dashed. At least the focus can now be on how the club survives and what football will look like in the future, whenever games are able to resume. With social distancing, presumably we will need to keep 2 metres apart, so only around 25% if capacity will be available in grounds and we will all have to move seats. What sort of squad will we have? Looking at those out of contract, we will barely have 11 experienced players available so youngsters should get a chance. Hopefully we do survive (possibly only part time?), but many other clubs may not so some form of reconstruction may happen anyway. Whenever football restarts, with or without fans, next year could be very tough and may determine our place in the football pecking order for some time to come.
  24. There has just been a piece on Reporting Scotland which referred to threats without naming clubs. A meeting on Tuesday will determine if an inquiry takes place.
