  1. A great result. Well done all. It’s worth observing that we’ve not drawn any of our last 10 league games and we’ve won 7 of them. What a change in mindset and approach.
  2. Noted today were Jamie McCart for Hearts, James Carragher for Wigan, George Oakley (2) for Ayr, Adam Brooks (2) for Queen of the South, Nathan Austin for East Fife and Aiden Wilson for Inverurie.
  3. It will probably still be windy for the game but let’s conquer the Wasps and the weather and get three points. Safe journey to those attending and I really hope you enjoy the game.
  4. Losing is disappointing, but if we were to lose one of our last three, this was the one. From the BBC text, Brooks was out to prove a point after us hardly playing him then letting him go. I hope Longstaff and Bavidge are fit for Saturday. Annan are still very much in touching distance. Regroup and move on.
  5. In fairness to him, Ferguson never played him.
  6. Brooks had 6 attempts on goal in the first half. Going by the BBC text we seem to have been under the cosh a bit. Let’s have a strong second half and grab a win!
  7. They’d given him some money to play with too. From what I’ve heard, their defence was his achilles heal, particularly when Jack Walker was not in the starting line up. Nairn fans feared the worst after his loan there ended and losing 5-1 at home to Forres on Saturday seems to have brought things to a head.
  8. 4 away wins on the spin in the league: let’s make it 5. TBH I’d take a point tonight but I’m hoping for 3.
  9. I wasn’t there but Bray has played right back a few times and with the line up he’d have been right back. Nolan was playing there with Strachan at left back for a few games but I see Strachan wasn’t in the squad yesterday.
  10. We’ve now played 20 league games, 10 under Ferguson and 10 under Kellacher. Under Ferguson, we got 12 points with 2 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats. We scored 7 goals and conceded 7. Under Kellacher, we’ve got 19 points with 6 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats (and worth noting we only got 1 point in his first 2 games following administration). We’ve scored 15 goals and conceded 13. That is some turnaround and fully reflects the revised tactics and mindset. We knew there would be bumps along the way but to have closed the gap on Annan from 16 points to 4 since 26 October is quite an achievement. Well done all!
  11. I enjoyed seeing that! Jordan White scored for County in that game whilst scorers elsewhere were Jay Henderson (hat trick) and George Oakley for Ayr, Wallace Duffy for Brora and Andrew MacRae for Clach. Kevin McHattie scored an own goal in Brechin’s game against Hearts on Friday.
  12. A great result. Queen of the South have the best home record in the league: let’s dent that on Tuesday and get another win. That’s 22 points in 11 games, 19 in 10 since administration. Well done Kell and the guys: let’s keep this run going.
  13. A massive game that we really could do with winning, but one that we must not lose.
  14. Jay Henderson and George Oakley for Ayr tonight.
  15. Jack Newman has joined Livingston on loan.
  16. Jordan White for County yesterday.
  17. The game on 15 February is now a 1400 kick off as the 30th anniversary dinner dance is that evening.
  18. A hat trick for George Oakley for Ayr yesterday, and one for Logan Chalmers for Partick.
  19. and Bavidge scores the opening goal.
  20. Bavidge and Stewart loan deals confirmed.
  21. If true, that’s very good news

Happy New Year Scotty, poster and lurkers: Hope your heads are ok today! Here’s to a better and brighter 2025.
  24. Adam Brooks for Queen of the South and Lewis Hyde for Elgin yesterday. Today, Jordan White for County and Jordan Roberts for Stevenage.
  25. A bad day at the office. It always happens. Regroup and move on.
