Some League 1 games get moved to Saturday teatime for BBC Alba. There are the same number of games as in the Championship, but probably fewer weekends kept clear for cup competitions.
-
Cameron Ferguson is missing from the website too.

We still need a back up goalie so Duke remains in the dugout! Seriously though, I hope Jack does very well for us, but where’s the logic in making two local ‘keepers leave and bringing in someone who we will need to pay accommodation costs for? A Dundee United fan I know said he was a capable back up for them, who got some first team experience in their relegation season, and he feels he can do a good job for us.

In the Clach game thread, Duke of Inverness booked his place in the dugout so he’s ahead of me in the pecking order to be sub goalie
-
Someone posted a P&J article earlier saying we are expected to bring goalkeeper Jack Newman in on loan from Dundee United. We will need another one though.

This is copied from today’s announcement. I’ve added their position, but may not have all the youngsters correct. No goalkeeper yet. The club can confirm the following players are currently under contract for 2024/25 campaign. Keith Bray midfielder Adam Brooks striker Ethan Cairns striker Jake Davidson right back Danny Devine centre half Charlie Gilmour midfielder Cameron Ferguson striker Luis Longstaff winger Calum MacLeod midfielder Calum Mackay midfielder Billy Mckay striker Lewis Nicolson left back Sam Nixon defender Remi Savage centre half Matthew Strachan defender Robbie Thompson midfielder Nikola Ujdur centre half Jack Walker centre half

ICT Supporters Trust Statement: Pre-season
Robert replied to ICT Supporters Trust's topic in Caley Thistle
Catching up on this thread, as someone (STFU, I think, but apologies if it was someone else) has said elsewhere, this is not the time for fans to be arguing amongst themselves, as that will merely be what SG wants to see. I know this is a Forum and debating is good, but we really need to stand together at this time and avoid recriminations. If nothing else, the statement will hopefully have resonated with some on the Board and may prompt them to get things concluded and fans updated. It is likely that today’s squad update was issued as a result of what the Trust said yesterday. I understand the absolute deadline for the submission of the accounts to 31 May 2023 is the end of this month, which presumably means close of business on Friday. I believe our licence is at risk if we miss that deadline, but I know others are more clued up on this than me, and will be able to correct this if my understanding is wrong. -
Great to see the STV News interviewing Aaron and covering the situation he has found himself in. A true professional who spoke very well about the circumstances and how badly he’s been let down. He also highlighted the lack of communication with fans and why would anyone buy anything given the silence from the club.

ICT Supporters Trust Statement: Pre-season
Robert replied to ICT Supporters Trust's topic in Caley Thistle
Every fan would immediately call the club out if it is stupid enough to blame fans for the demise of the club. We all know the real reasons why things are in such a mess, and it’s nothing to do with the actions of fans, and definitely not due to the actions of the Trust. -
An additional game is Nairn away on Tuesday 2 July at 1930.

Oh well, Scotland did what Scotland does! I’m sure none of us are surprised be blew our best chance in years to get to the latter stages of a tournament for the first time. Some of our play was reminiscent of a team we all love!

Thanks for doing it again Gringo. Hopefully we have a club and there’s a competition to run in the new season! Congratulations on winning.

That’s not the point. He should have been seen and had the situation explained to him about why a new contract was not being offered, and advised that his P45 would follow by e-mail. Thats only common decency. Treat others how you’d want to be treated yourself.

Young goalkeeper Corey Paterson has joined Forres.

Welcome, and please keep contributing to the Forum. Things do seem to be progressing and hopefully that will continue. For me, the two key issues were Kelty and the club leadership. The first has been achieved, the second is well under way. Based on that I will be renewing my season ticket and getting behind the club. I fully understand those who are waiting to see what happens next and I respect their viewpoint. I hope they feel able to come on board soon. I also understand why the club is not publicly stating when SG is actually leaving. They could only do so with his agreement as they need to comply with GDPR regulations. This is different to most player contracts which are for a fixed term and, I suspect, players and their agents probably don’t get sticky on such things being known publicly. It does sound like discussions with investors are going well. I feel it is important that these potential investors see that fans are getting behind the club again as they will have seen the strength of feeling and just how united fans have been in the Kelty and leadership issues, along with the growth in Supporters Trust membership and its increased profile in the media.

The Inverness Cup Final against Clach?
-
All the youngsters loaned out are out of contract but hopefully talks are taking place to sign them up. Many of them showed promise when they got game time, including in the North of Scotland Cup, so hopefully we can be competitive in League 1 with a mix of youngsters and experienced guys like Devine and Mckay. We do need to find goalkeepers though.
-
I’m pretty sure Remi Savage is signed for next season as, with Danny Devine triggering his extension, that took us to 9 players. We can play 5 2 2 (or 3 4 2) and put a jumper between the sticks!
-
Personally I like it and hope we get a decent away kit this season too.
-
Robbie is over there, but sadly as a fan rather than a player.

Outclassed and if Germany really fancy this I’m really worried how embarrassing it will get.

Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
Robert replied to EvilWhiteStripe's topic in Caley Thistle
I think somethings gone awry with the first post in this thread. It looks like several different posts from different posters have somehow got merged so it doesn’t make a lot of sense. -
At least we are receiving a payment, albeit undisclosed. Presumably whatever the Development Fee is worth.
