  1. I’m with those who feel we should be focussing our efforts on supporting the players so they get the right result for us tomorrow and we stay in the Championship. However, I’m curious as to what you feel the grounds are for legal action in the event of the scenario you have outlined.
  2. That’s as this is the thread for Saturday’s game….
  3. He’s doing what he’s been told to do.
  4. Fair enough. I just went with what was said on TV as to why Pepple reacted as he did. I said a few weeks ago that Pepple deserved a start as he roughs defences up.
  5. We need to approach Saturday the way we’ve played the second half. Hamilton are nothing special and are there for the taking. We can’t show them any respect.
  6. That looks bad for Devine.
  7. The commentators said Pepple went to the away fans to wind them up as they were making those chants. We need to learn from this for Saturday. The subs have made the difference.
  8. People with his first touch. We have the momentum, let’s get level!
  9. Lawal and Carragher on for Gilmour and Duffy.
  10. He’s been played there most games. The summariser has it spot on about how we have lined up. The next goal is vital.
  11. We’ve missed Gilmour and the strength he gives us in midfield. I saw him growing to be the “new Allardice” before he got injured so I’m glad he’s back. I just hope he’s fit and we’ve not brought him back too soon like Shaw a few weeks ago.
  12. Mmm, not sure about that. Duffy, Devine and Boyes as a back three, or a back four with Kerr in midfield? I’d have preferred MacGregor or Lawal to Longstaff. Good to have Gilmour fit to start though. A big night ahead. Hopefully we can get a win to give us confidence for Saturday.
  13. HT 0-0 FT 0-1 ICT Billy Mckay Hamilton O’Hara Crowd 1312 Yellow Kerr
  14. Andrew Shinnie for Livingston today.
  15. I missed the game as I was only flying back home tonight, and totally get the concerns about the performance levels and the nervousness about the Hamilton games. However, the play offs are all about survival for us. It may not have been pretty, but at least we are in the final. That was the objective today. We still have hope.
  16. I will miss the game as I’m only flying back to Inverness tomorrow evening, but it definitely is a “must win” game. We all know we are in a bad place financially, but losing doesn’t bear thinking about. I said on Tuesday we should be on the front foot and take the game to Montrose. The opposite happened and that can’t be the case again tomorrow. I will be glued to updates on my phone, hoping for the best but also fearing the worst. I hope there is a big crowd that gets behind the players from the start, and helps them get the win we desperately need. But given the club is struggling for cash, why on earth is the Sports Bar not going to be open?

  18. Garry Wood has been appointed as Deveronvale’s Manager. Josh Meekings rumoured to be joining Clach.
  19. Toddy for Airdrie tonight.
  20. Oh well, at least we didn’t lose.
  21. Alloa 2-1 up on Hamilton.
  22. Half time 0-0. 6 attempts by Montrose, 4 on target. Just 2 by us, including Lawal hitting the bar The comments from those watching are very concerning: glad I didn’t buy the live stream as I’d have missed half the first half. Hopefully they waken up after the break, as a draw here will be a bad result and a defeat even worse.
  23. I’m just going by the BBC text, but Montrose have had three attempts saved in the opening 10 minutes.
  24. Given our poor home form, I see tomorrow’s game as one we need to win, and preferably win well. We’ve finished the season quite well with 10 points out of 15 and a couple of decent performances against Raith and Morton, so hopefully confidence is high. We need to be on the front foot and go for it. I just hope there is no complacency, as this Montrose team is no push over.
  25. It seems to me that the club didn’t check the rules given we’ve only been in the Premiership play offs in recent years. We’d get a bigger crowd if season tickets were accepted but personally I have no issue with the decision (even if they’ve used a rule that doesn’t apply). I signed up for the 18 home league games knowing I’d need to buy tickets for any other games. That said, I won’t make Saturday’s game as I will be waiting for a flight back home at the time. I just hope there’s a decent crowd to encourage the players to get the result we need
