  1. I think somethings gone awry with the first post in this thread. It looks like several different posts from different posters have somehow got merged so it doesn’t make a lot of sense.
  2. At least we are receiving a payment, albeit undisclosed. Presumably whatever the Development Fee is worth.
  3. I don’t know the whole story. They had a plan to merge with Strathspey that Strathspey rejected, then it was said they would not be playing in the NCL this season.
  4. Loch Ness have withdrawn from the NCL for the coming season.
  5. Wow, target hit in less than a day! It shows how the ICT community can rally round. Hopefully we have a club to rally round in the new season, under leadership we can support.
  6. I said last night that those making decisions at the club should hang their heads in shame. Today’s news about Aaron simply underlines that. I’m speechless at some of the actions they have taken in recent times. Well done Shane, and it’s great to see the support being given to Aaron. Its so sad that Shane felt the need to make this wonderful gesture. I dread to think what tomorrow’s revelation will be.
  7. Today is yet another very sad day, embarrassing for the club and everyone who has treated the players so disgracefully should hang their heads in shame. I’d like to join others in showing my appreciation for everything those leaving have done for the club. We know about Mark Ridgers, Cammy Harper, Wallace Duffy and Cammy MacKay. Best wishes to each of them and all other players in the same situation.
  8. That’s exactly the role Stronger Together is designed to fulfil, with the safeguard that the Supporters Trust only buy shares (ie put money in) if they are happy with how the club is being run.
  9. As a start, have a look at the Stronger Together initiative the Supporters Trust launched a couple of months ago. It’s designed to increase fan involvement in the club through raising money to buy shares. More here: https://caleythistleonline.com/topic/36186-stronger-together-how-to-contribute/ That allows one off or regular contributions and will build over time. The Supporters Trust is independent if the club, and has made it clear it will only invest when it feels the time is right. In the immediate term, the club really needs one of the potential investors referred to in yesterday’s release to chip in. It is all about cash flow for the next few months, taking enough in to pay out what needs paid, so every season ticket will help, along with buying merchandise, sponsorship etc.
  10. I will certainly sign up. As highlighted at the Fans Meetings, this is one of the areas that the Supporters Trust has told the club that it is happy to help with if that would be of assistance.
  11. I’d assume it would be to brief them on the CEO’s resignation and the content of the statement before it was released so they didn’t see it in the media, here or on social media. If I’m right, it is a good sign about those remaining in charge wanting to treat staff properly.
  12. BBC also reported at 0730 that club staff were told yesterday that he’d resigned but was tying up loose ends. Our very own Scotty was quoted in the piece too.
  13. Ryan Christie for Scotland last night.
  14. Apparently Boydie now lives in Inverness and is known to frequent some pubs in town.
  15. Duncan Chisholm in Julie Fowlis’s band at The Gathering yesterday.
  16. It’s such a pity Cammy’s not getting his opportunity to make the no1 shirt his own in the new season. Kelty no doubt a major factor in his thinking.
  17. Ridgers is out of contract and rumoured to be joining County. MacKay rumoured to be joining Brora.
  18. Spent yesterday at The Gathering. It was at the Bucht due to the work at the Northern Meeting Park, and used a surprisingly small section, albeit there must have been upwards of 5000 there. The bar and catering worked well though. Highlights were Torridon (despite being Staggies), Trail West and headliners Skerryvore. The weather was amazing.
  19. I understand that was the first payment for renting the car park out to the hydro facility, but it’s been delayed (rumoured to be as the Council want the club to apply for planning permission to have it used as a car park for that rather than just for events at the stadium).
  20. The Courier has picked up on the financial implications of fans not renewing season tickets: https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/supporters-trust-say-ict-set-to-lose-200-000-from-fan-boyc-352180/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  21. I think we will have more fans at away games than home games unless we get the changes we want!
  22. Strange, it let me open it. The 9 are Devine, Ujdur, Savage, Nicolson, Davidson, Gilmour, Longstaff, Brooks and Mckay. The article is mainly about Ryan Esson and our ‘keepers all being out of contract.
  23. This article sums it up, and confirms the 9 currently contracted for next season: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6487637/caley-thistle-set-to-be-without-a-goalkeeping-coach-and-a-single-signed-goalkeeper/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2Qg7G7L2S0ry9KiKDaWktehHc3AV8VtMhWlSZNIOx1Cps583fEPcSltMc_aem_AathZPX-YhV_zrWz7tJsTiRZEyzKZoPSDWzsUgY30t4ApZgKNup5vE6zIr-2ARCTTSwK1aOATcNR5FPQSFhg6T0P
  24. Today, but they are a year out of date as to the end of May last year.
  25. Who’d have thought on this day 9 years ago where we would be and what we’d be discussing today! How we’ve fallen in that time.
