  2. The semi final is scheduled to be on 18 October at home against Nairn.
  3. And that was it! Given 9 of the starting 11 are in the first team squad, I’d have expected a much more convincing score. Anyone who attended able to comment? But it was a clean sheet…..
  4. Graeme Shinnie for Aberdeen at County in the League Cup tonight.
  5. Keith Bray has opened the scoring.
  6. Thanks, I’d forgotten we were due a Tuesday game down there and as only one date was mentioned in the article I misinterpreted it. A sensible decision to utilise a free Saturday rather than a Tuesday evening.
  7. According to the club this game has been rescheduled from 1500 on 18 November to 1500 on 18 November! I assume it is being moved to the Friday for TV but that is a guess by me. In case they correct the wording in the link, I copied this just now: GAME INFO Dunfermline Athletic v ICTFC cinch Championship Saturday 18 November 2023 3pm kick-off East End Park Our away fixture against Dunfermline Athletic will now take place on Saturday 18th November with a 3pm kick-off at East End Park https://ictfc.com/fixture-rescheduled-dunfermline-a-18-11-2023/
  8. I see Rory McAllister is back at Peterhead.
  9. On Saturday, Nathan Austin for East Fife and Jordan Roberts for Stevenage. It was Scottish Cup first round day, with Ethan Cairns scoring for Forres, Andrew MacAskill for Buckie and Andrew MacRae getting a hat trick for Brora.
  10. Having slept on last night’s rumour and reacted this morning by predicting it will end in tears, I’ve had time to reflect. It is a bold appointment, and has a lot of risk about it. However, he will stand up to the CEO and Board, which must be a positive. He was highly rated as a coach at Everton and nearly went to Real Madrid in a coaching role, so he clearly has strengths. Forest Green was a disaster for him but probably would have been for whoever had the job. He’s here now, so he has my support. During the next few weeks I hope he earns my continued support. As I said after Saturday’s game, there is hope!
  11. I hope I’m wrong but this will end in tears.
  12. This is the link I had: https://ictfc.com/north-of-scotland-cup-fixture-rothes-a-27-09-2023/ As mentioned above other sources all say Wednesday, so this bit of the club’s website is wrong: https://ictfc.com/calendar/fixtures/ But you and IBM have neatly summed the issue up. Once again the club’s communication is found to be lacking!
  13. Does that mean Robbo is wanting to be back in the hot seat? If so, this site will be red hot after the announcement!
  14. In case anyone fancies a Wednesday evening in Rothes, this game is this week. Kick off at 2000. It was drawn as a home game but has been reversed for some annoying reason.
  15. Wouldn’t say so, but there was much more positivity in the crowd, even after the sickening late goal. I agree with the comments that the players were up for it and felt we matched United in the main, but our downfall was failing to get shots away. I came away feeling more confident we can turn things round, at least enough to ensure safety. Udjur had a decent debut and Boyes looked good again. Anderson also looks a good find. I thought it telling that Doran started, whilst it’s the best Samuels has played for at least a year. There is hope!
  16. Two for Logan Chalmers for Ayr tonight.
  17. Link here. Seems interviews next week, with speculation also about O’Dea, Imrie and Liam Fox: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/jamie-mcallister-top-inverness-manager-31006704 Whilst I don’t like how they waste time etc, Imrie seems to have done a decent job at Morton.
  18. I’m not sure who from the ST uses the log in that started the thread, but I’ve sent a PM to it with my apologies for tomorrow and a couple of comments that may be relevant for the discussions.

  20. None last weekend that I noticed.
  21. We’d be in heaven if we thought we could get a 52% win rate again some time soon!! It helps with context though, as does Moog’s post about Robbo’s issues a couple of years ago. I also fully endorse STFU’s comments about the club’s lack of a sense of community. There needs to be a strong focus on healing wounds and being the community club we often say we are. It is time for strong leadership both in terms of the football side but equally important in terms of the community side. But do we have anyone who can deliver that….??
  22. This summary of his managerial doesn’t inspire me: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Kernaghan
  23. I was expecting Robbo to replace Dodds in the summer. It was common knowledge that there were issues between them and Robbo wanted him ousted during last season. I assume the cup reprieve stopped that happening. I think the next two or three games will dictate what happens. Perhaps Robbo until the end of the season but I’d like to see Warren and / or Tremarco recruited to the coaching team to be a potential longer term appointment.
