  1. He says higher up the thread "soon". I wonder if that's like the "imminent" contract deals.....
  2. Really liking the Dundee Utd kits actually. Third kit is spectacular. Don't think it'd catch on up in these backwaters though
  3. You're having a laff ain't ya? Could have 7k in the stadium and the atmosphere would still be questionable... ^^this and all this merde about 'entertainment' FML! If you want entertainment, go to the cinema. If you want to watch a game of fitba, and support your local team, then you buy a season ticket and head down to the TCS! If you're lucky, you will be entertained as well.
  4. Actually getting fed up of the hating on Yogi! Wasn't enamoured with the first half, but watching it back on Alba it seemed a wee bit better than live. And the object of the game was not to lose, and at half time, we were not losing! I hear people moaning about sideways passing, but when a forward pass is made, unless it's inch perfect, people are moaning! You can't have everything! at times, the tempo could be up'd a wee bit, but better to hold possession than hit and hope? Surely?
  5. Win or draw on Saturday and it is a moot point. unless we're getting napoleon syndrome about being a highland club again....?
  6. Well done to the 98 stalwarts who made the trek down tonight!
  7. They'll have half a chance if the pundits dinna overdo it like they do at every tournament!
  8. And as mentioned on the radio, this is likely Thomson trying to ingratiate himself with the fans "I resigned because of this, look" even though he would have to anyway.
  9. This is why Yogi has critics - Roberts was one of the best players against Utd and he's been dropped for Vigurs.... Clear sign for me that he's away at the end of the season
  10. Again? It's been posted on here many times before that the club operate at a financial loss, with prize money and transfer fees ensuring that the club breaks even or turns a profit. The board statement also reported that further money had been made available following the injury crisis - that's where yer money's gone! Also, their is a strong probility that our trip to Romania costs us more than we won in prize money for that too! In addition, the transfer budget for this year has been kept at the higher level, despite a lower league finish.
  11. Also, go get them then.....?!?!!?!? Still no word of tying up th quality players we DO have. No word of Roberts getting an extension...nothing said about trying to keep Storey... is he expecting the board to source the new players as well as bank roll them?
  12. Not moaning, it doesn't put me up nor down except when it makes no sense, that is all.
  13. Same old same old from him I think? i think he's building in some excuses too-tansy is vital-so if we lose him he has an excuse to pull out of the drawer... frustrating to hear him bemoan funds yet again, even after the board have told him he's getting the same as last year!
  14. If I've offended someone by saying what I've seen the please tell me. If you are the steward in question....why are you partaking of a football fan forum when you clearly have no clue about football fans.....if people are red-dot ing because they agree that it's shocking behaviour then that's fair enough, but as said before and elsewhere, it's good to back up your dots! I get it when I say something that's an opinion or potentially divisive, red or green makes sense then, but here, I have reported on inappropriate behaviour of a steward????
  15. Had a totally random thought today, whilst surrounded by a lot of polish people... with attendance suffering and Inverness having a large Eastern European inhabitance, it may be prudent to sign one or two polish players? I remember when Boruc was playing for Celtic, a lot of Poles came to the TCS just to see him play. Obviously we couldn't afford a player of his stature but if their was a player out there who matched our needs and budget who was also a draw for 'new' fans then why not?
  16. So, after all the negativity over the lacklustre end of season run in, I thought a bit of light-hearted trivial fun might be in order. If this would be better in a different section, then feel free to move it mods. If money was no object and spinning plates wasn't an issue then who would you like to see as the first 18 players in a CaleyJags shirt? This is effectively your team of the year, across all leagues. Starting 11, the formation you would play them in and 7 subs, and for that matter what about your manager of the year too. My selection... Hart Alves Boateng Sakho Marcelo Ozil DeBruyne Mahrez Messi Kane Aubameyang Subs: Cech, Vardy, Alli, Ramos, Pogba, Rashford, ThiagoSilva Manager: Klopp
  17. Second time I've got a red dot for saying the same thing? Unless it's for showing negativity to the steward? no, I never tbh, didn't think anything more of it until I saw him having a drama with the young team. not sure about regular, but he was at the last home game too, took a bottle of water off a guy and tried taking a bottle of juice off a young lassie but he clearly didn't want to get into that minefield!
  18. Agree with this. Not just this league, but fitba in general. This has already become an overused phrase but...Just look at Leicester....or Man City, with all their money etc they may have a season where they win nothing, and possibly not even 'win' a champions league place. i am a supporter of ICTFC therefore I will be renewing my season ticket, and I will be hoping for but not expecting a good season. And if we get relegated then I will again renew my season ticket and once again hope for the best. This is what being a fan/supporter is all about. If we start talking like only attending if we are winning we are in danger of being like Celtic and The Rangers and Man Utd fans.....#facepalm
  19. Did he get into a fight with Josh??

Just further evidence of his narcissism! I would jump on the Yogi-out bandwagon, but we can't afford that either! Maybe we could set up a crowdfunding page to bolster the funds (enough to keep the Rave and Storey and pack Yogi's bags) the board can deal with the rest!
  21. As I said somewhere else, that very same steward was swearing in front of my daughter as we were making our way through the turnstile, I did manage to make him feel very small, but clearly he's just a ****! Handled it all wrong, as I've seen him do many times before!
  22. ictfcsince94 replied to ed's topic in Caley Thistle
What's the point? He's here now and Yogi won't play him...why waste a wage on a bench warmer? maybe head round to Danny's house and break one o his legs or something? That appears to be the only way the Rave will get a look in! Disgustingly stubborn behaviour from Hughes on the Rave. Quite happy to play Vincent and Williams though. As someone in the crowd said on Friday..." We are not happy"
  23. ictfcsince94 replied to ed's topic in Caley Thistle
Aye, wasn't a good day for the stewards! The same one that was having bother with the young team was swearing in front of my wee girl and I had to tell him off! That was before I was even through the turnstile!
