  1. East Kilbride only lost 2-0 to Celtic a couple of seasons or so ago. Just saying like.
  2. I'm still of the view that appointing an inexperienced manager to a top flight club was a wrong move. I always hoped that I was wrong in this assumption but twelve games without a win kind of strengthens my views.
  3. Is it possible to throw the towel in now and save further embarrassment on national TV?
  4. Billy..great piece of work by the club. Just need to get the Shinnie's, Christie, Marley, Miles and Johnny back now Welcome back Billy.
  5. I agree 100% with these views. I also hope I'm wrong but, with no win since October, it's difficult to see how RF can turn this around. Recent performances haven't given any hope from what I have read. Lets see what he can do this coming Tuesday down in Hamilton. Let us see his motivational skills in raising the spirits of a lack lustre team, let us see his attacking style of play, let us see how we can make more than two or three passes without giving the ball away, let us see another clean sheet and let us see goals going in at the right end. Somehow, I think my eyes will be closed and I won't see any of this
  6. If RF was delighted with a home point then something is very wrong.
  7. We can all moan and groan about kick off times all we like, it won't make one blind bit of difference. The TV companies rule the roost I'm afraid. No thought will be given to fans (from any club) travelling etc and /or the effect it will have on their pockets with cancelled travel arrangements and so on. I had no intention of going to this game which is just as well I suppose because the change to an earlier k.o would mean I couldn't get there anyway.
  8. I think we'd struggle to come back from 3 down just now as we can't find the back of the net just now. I'll think positive though as a defeat or even a replay would be difficult to take.
  9. Bookies, well Bet365 anyway, giving odds of 17/2 (9.50) for an Elgin win. Considering the current form of both teams and how we mauled Alloa in the diddy cup it shouldn't be sniffed at....should it?
  10. Or even scrap the all ticket affair altogether especially in games where it isn't necessary....like Elgin away
  11. Thanks CD. Enjoy the game.
  12. Sure is BB. Darn pain when you're trying to plan things. It's not as if there's going to be 25,000 there is it?
  13. If the game is (ridiculously) all ticket, would away tickets be available on the day at Elgin?

With all this calling for manager and board heads it kind of makes our 'new' badge with 'Pride of the Highlands' on it seem rather silly now. To add my thoughts on the issues, I feel there is a factor here behind the scenes involving cash. when isn't there? The issues surrounding the exit of Yogi and the appointment of the 'cheaper option' in appointing Richie get me thinking there is a cost saving issue here. This will have an impact on the club of course. I also believe that things will turn about soon and we could possibly avoid the drop. But, as a poster above mentioned, there is no point in throwing money at players if we still go down as there will be no cash to rebuild. We have been punching above our weight for quite a while now and have managed to hang in there. There are bound to be dodgy periods at any club and its up the club to do everything possible to assist tin overcoming these. All we can do is keep supporting the team in good times and bad (says he who has only be to two games this season!)
  15. Not too sure whether it was on here or on social media, but I mentioned that a rookie manager in his first job taking on a team in the top (I use the 'top' very loosely) league is very likely to fail. I hoped I was wrong but it doesn't look like it just now. I can only comment from the games I have seen this season (which is only two - an all time low for me) but neither of them set the pulse racing I'm afraid. It's going to be a struggle and if we lose players in the sales and don't replace them with better quality then I.d say we'll be playing Championship football next season.
  16. Brilliant, just brilliant. I will read this out to family on Christmas evening. Bound to be more entertaining than the feckin TV

Which means they're due an away win...even more worrying
  18. Gringo replied to bdu98196's topic in Caley Thistle
We've only beaten them once at home (in the league) in eight attempts..that's a worrying stat'. I don't like stat's.
  19. He has done amazingly well and fair play to him. Hard work brings its rewards....I just wish they wouldn't interview him

The £££ signs rule I'm afraid and who can blame these young players for wanting it? It is a sad time for football in general these days as its all about the money. I feel sorry for Ryan in a way and was saddened that he took the carrot but, as I said, who could blame him at the prospect of a bulging bank account. Clubs like Celtic rule the roost I'm afraid and have bigger carrot's to dangle than the real teams of Scottish football.
  21. Listening to Richie's IV doesn't really fill me with confidence to be honest. Didn't really look like he wanted to be on camera I hope he can get it right tomorrow with his change of system and personal but I fear the worst. St J are always a tough nut to crack.

I'd never pre-order clothing of any kind tbh. No reason at all why anyone should but, each to their own eh!. And, at £45 a shirt, for me, they can stay on the clothes rack much to the annoyance of the JD shareholders.
  23. I'm very worried about this game. We just aren't good enough with a rookie manager. I fear the worst. Hope I'm wrong. Come on ICT, restore my confidence
  24. It wouldn't you're right but, for me, its still wouldn't encourage me to go. I like to pay at the gate (or get a ticket at the office!) when I get there. When you travel a good distance to games like I do anything can go wrong that prevents you making the game. There would be no refund so, I don't bother going. Its that simple really. I can understand it (just) for cup ties etc but for league games? no way. Sod it.
  25. Didn't go last season I won't be going this season either. Can't be ersed with the hassle tbh. And £24..naaa.
