Yompa and Neuroblastoma
Many of you on here would have heard about Yompa (aka InterTheNet, Steve Taylor). He is the guy who founded the Highland March. Over the past few years he has been dedicating his time to supporting and helping to find a cure to the childhood cancer - Neuroblastoma. He's raised thousands of pounds in the last five years - but it's never enough. He has recently returned from Austrailia after completing 2222km cycling from Brisbane to Adelaide. I read his blog whilst he was doing that trip and the whole story from start to finish is now available in Kindle format. An inspirational read from an inspirational guy. This will be the best £1.99 you will ever spend. And there's a lot of ICT and Highland March stuff in it too. Here's the link - go buy. Thank you. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ride2Cure-Neuroblastoma-bus-pass-outback-ebook/dp/B07JDJ4X7C/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1539511257&sr=8-18&keywords=steve+taylor

League cup semi finals
I hear Mr Rodgers is bemoaning the fact his team has to go to Edinburgh for their semi-final. Such a long way to travel for them, bless. Because he's never been to Murrayfield in his life before does this mean his precious side should play all their Euro games in Glasgow or any other ground that he has been to? Not so long ago when Hampden was being used for the Commonwealth Games didn't Celtic play some of their Semi-Final (and final?) games at home? Quote (BBC) " "It just feels as if it's assumed that Celtic and Hearts should go to Murrayfield. And if we're talking about a neutral venue then it's certainly not neutral with Hearts having played part of their season there last year. "I've never been to Murrayfield in my life. I would hope that we would at least have the possibility to train there at some point before we would play a semi-final there."

I've not done updates yet. Will be on the case sometime over this weekend.

He's One Of Our Own
From what I've seen of our stewards they only seem interested in getting 'involved' if the problem involves anyone up to the age of 16 .

He's One Of Our Own
Despite a season ban I hope they've been made to apologies to Liam and his family. They should also be made to clean to stadium toilets with a toothbrush.

Alan Hercher
So very sad to lose a legend at an early age. Our sincere condolences to all his family and friends. It was a pleasure to see him play and celebrate the goals he scored and made. I agree with Kingsmills that the club should try to arrange a benefit match (subject to family agreement of course) in support. I for one would make every effort to be there. R.I.P Alan.

NAPS Competition and PL
Quick reminder for you lovers of fun games. The all singing all dancing NAPS Competition kicks off this weekend (4th Aug). This can be found in the Betting Forum (an add on to Gringo's NPL) The correct score Prediction League (non NPL) also kicks off this weekend and we will be using the Championship fixtures again this season. This game can be found under the Features tab. For regular users please make sure you join the SPFL Championship 2018-19 league by going into 'My Profile' > 'Joined Leagues' and ticking the box. Hope to see some new faces to add to the fun - I'm getting tired of losing to the same old gang.

Reigniting the spark.
Some nice ideas there but I think the costs of putting on a show will be the stumbling so far as the club is concerned. I can't really see many fans patronising it either as they will be stuck in their ways and have their pre match events at the likes of the Caley Club. Well worth a try though I reckon.

Hearts Game
My thoughts exactly and I believe this is not the first time it's happened at Hearts. Totally ridiculous and unnecessary in this competition (or any comp' come to that). What happens to those who have purchased tickets in advance and through no fault of their own can't make the game....do they get a refund? I very much doubt it. Not worth the risk in losing money in my view so I stay at home.

Reigniting the spark.
I've had a serious case of football apathy for a while now and I'm trying to rekindle the fire in my belly. I only went to one ICT match last season which was shocking by my standards. Weather and travel problems didn't help but at least I can't be blamed for any of the postponements lol. Winning the cup and entering a Euro comp was a high for me but where do we go from there? We were in a (boring) league that we could never win and the ambition for those days was to finish in top six and avoid relegation. Great! I will always love ICT as they have given many happy days...and long trips. Rekindling of the fire starts tonight at home against Raith Rovers. One thing that does annoy me is at some games you have to buy a ticket in advance. That is no good to me and I will not take the risk of buying one just in case circumstances dictate that I can't go. An example of this is Hearts next Sunday...according to info you can not buy a ticket on the day for the away end. How ridiculous is that? Mon the Caley Jays.

Russia - The World Cup
SA reminded me a lot of ICT....they kept giving to ball away and lacked ideas in the final third.

Russia - The World Cup
I'm with you there DD. Ever since it was announced that Russia would host the 2018 World Cup I had serious doubts. Russian supporters have a serious racism issue and their hooligans, I understand, are trained to 'military standards in hand to hand combat'. There will be serious trouble despite assurances from the authorities. As for the football itself I can not get excited one bit. As DD says, Southgate has breathed some fresh life into England but I really don't think they're good enough to go beyond the 1/4 finals if they even get that far. I'm also disappointed that none of the other home countries qualified as this added a lot more interest and cheering them on added to that.

The Pre-Season Thread
I remember many seasons ago we played a friendly away to Deveronvale. I think we were 9-0 to the good when 'Vale scored. Reaction to that from an ICT fan was "Well, if you're going to make a game of it I'm going home". Was rather funny that. ICT won 10-1.

Congratulations the Scotty on winning the 2017-2018 Prediction League. A double for the family as SOS won the NAPS Competition. Well played.- The Table for ICT
Playing twice a week could have an adverse effect I fear. I do not feel confident that we could overcome Livingston or Morton away from home. Having said that we are indeed in a better place in the table than a few weeks ago prior to winning the Irn Bru cup. Never say never.- Going Ballistic

Lots of good pictures there. Your thumb must be sore from winding all the films on [oh when I wuz a lad] I was never any good at taking sporting shots especially football. I always seemed to miss the best bits.- Sponsor Evening 2018

Hi punters. There was an error in Week 27 with the Dundee United v Queen of the Sth fixture. The final score was added in error so the fixture was deleted. It has now been added again but you will have to fill in your predictions again to avoid losing points. Cheers Gringo - Prediction League (Non NPL) - Champion
