  1. Mrs G and me were so pleased to have helped lay out the cards on Friday afternoon even it was just for a short while. A fine effort by everyone. That includes the fans who were at their seats before the team came out..it wouldn't have worked otherwise.
  2. Never been so excited about a football match in my whole life....and nervous
  3. Fixture lists I've seen show us as the away team..unless there's a different rule somewhere. Doesn't really matter as long as we score more than they do
  4. Well done Yogi, well deserved over the piece. Just finish the season in some style now. :clapoverhead:

Our run of poor form is just a ploy to foil the watching Falkirk spies.
  6. 190 for me. Won 85 Drawn 47 Lost 58 For 331 Against 240 First game was way back on Sat 20 Jan 1990. An FA Cup 3rd round tie at promotion chasing Airdrie. This was in Caledonian's Highland League days. The match ended in a 2-2 draw - Airdrie equalising in what was possibly the 97th minute.
  7. You'd have thought I'd be the same as Johndo in respect of Queen of the South as that's a 'home' game for me - but no. Most visited away day is St Mirren (combining old and new grounds here) with 8 visits. My record here is W3 D4 L1 F12 A10. ICT have scored every time I've been too
  8. Coventry Nil in Englandshire.
  9. So Yogi had no faith in Ryan saving the spot kick then? Blimey!!

It just has to be this one. Brilliant.
  11. Sorry...hate to say this but I think we're going get thumped . Hope I'm wrong. Come on boys...show me up and make me eat my words.
  12. Maybe the TV companies should pay for all travel expenses and fund special trains and buses. After all it is their fault too.
  13. Maybe the Groundsmen could get involved too. Things like how high does the grass have to grow before they cut it and is the woodwork really made from wood these days? But seriously I think our media team do a great job with their unpaid, voluntary work. One thing I will agree with is updates on player injuries would be a welcome addition especially those with long term problems like Richie Foran. I think overloading the FB and Twitter feeds with any old tittle tattle will drive fans away from these feeds.
  14. Collum!!? Don't think I'll bother making the 640 miles round trip in that case FFS.
  15. Wrong move Billy, you won't cut it down here, sorry.
  16. I wasn't there to witness this event but surely if it was only one person spouting this bile then somebody could have gagged him? Also with the wonders of modern technology there doesn't appear to be any photos or, perhaps more importantly, recordings of this/those idiot(s) for evidence, well, not that I have seen anyway. You will always get abuse at football matches but this one does sound extreme and needs to followed up to prevent it happening again. As for leaving the game I find that a bit harsh as I'm sure would have been many others areas to sit out of ear shot. I sincerely hope the perpetrator can been found and brought to book.
  17. Noooo...the award is a curse, give it Aberdeen or Dundee Utd
  18. Maybe if the SPFL sacked the likes of Willie Collum then fans may turn up without the fear of being cheated
  19. Did we go on a lengthy unbeaten run after a 1-5 (or was it 0-5) home defeat against Motherwell not so very long ago? We'll do the same now and be unbeaten for the rest of the season....including the cup. Those ICT players and manager will be hurting right now. Someone is in for a thrashing...starting in Perth. In any league we will get 'freak' results that go completely against the form book. Its football, it happens and when it does we dust ourselves down, take it on the chin and wipe the bayonets and charge again. It why we love the game.
  20. We've never really had a good game against Partick. They always seem to turn us over, just like they did at their place earlier in the season - our first league defeat if I remember correctly. This result shouldn't be a shock although, I have to say, the scoreline is. If we cast our minds back to the County game, we could have been 0-4 down at HT in that but we got lucky. These freak results do happen every season and we've just had ours. We do have the chance for redemption in the cup but I wouldn't bank on it to be honest. A bad day at the office for ICT who will pick themselves up. The only bright spot for me was the fact I never made it up for this game (which was planned) so at least I wont get the blame this time
  21. A poor first half but had chances to score before St Mirren got their goal with probably their first (and last) shot on target all game. Second half was almost total domination but we couldn't see the job out. The equalizer spurred us on but it wasn't to be. We seemed shot at times and some golden chances were squandered especially Raven..but he is a defender after all...I suppose..but not an excuse..really. We missed Marley. I thought Aaron would have started but Nicky got the nod there. He did well bit I think Aaron would have skinned them. At least Marley and Greg will be back for the replay (I think). In the end a disappointing draw but at least we'll make loads of money in the sell out Tuesday night replay!!!!
  22. Oh go on then...I'll pop along. Meet you in the Alamo? I take it the pie incident hasn't affected the beer (not that they've got proper anyway but hey ho).
  23. SPFL fix I'd say . So that will the mighty Glasgow teams out at the first hurdle then...the cup is ours.
  24. It Chelsea's to lose in my opinion. Man City will recover to fight to the end after some recent dodgy results. Southampton have done well so far but I think they will fade eventually to mid-table. Liverpool have no bite anymore and are poor at the back. I doubt they'll make the top four. Burnley have had it I reckon closely followed by Leicester and QPR. I'd love to see the Villa in the relegation dog fight but I think they have too much strength to go down..shame really. My top four in no particular order, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd.
