Matchday Thread v Partick
I expect the main reason is we can't afford to tour these days and would be dependent on the bigger sides coming to us which they don't seem to want to do. I've always said that pre season is about trying things out and getting fit. We've a new manager with new ideas and some new players to gel into the side. It didn't work for against Partick yesterday but when we go there in the League it never does. They're a bit of a bogey side. Its going to take time but I think we have the makings of quite a good side and if we can steer clear of injuries / suspensions etc we may do quite well.

NO CASH TURNSTILES THIS SEASON
That should be interesting if, say, I'm stuck on a broken down train at Dalwhinnie :-D

NO CASH TURNSTILES THIS SEASON
No. You can board without one in certain places. I don't need to buy one of those things anyway ;-)

NO CASH TURNSTILES THIS SEASON
2 x cash ticket windows for, say, 1500 fans. Aye, that'll work a treat. I also suspect not many would heed the advice about turning up earlier. Tomorrow's game will not be a big test of this system I don't think. Time will tell of course but it's a wrong move for me. It could also deter the tourist from popping down for a game. The thing I'd like to know is, it I bought a ticket in advance and couldn't make the game through no fault of own I.e travel disruption, would I get a refund?

New 2016/17 kit
Never thought of that. Cheers Renegade. I could become a millionaire with all this potential income

New 2016/17 kit
Me neither. Proper club crest should be shown on the players shirts without the caption. Keep that for the t-shirts / leisure wear.

New 2016/17 kit
Nice to see the stripes back. Will have to view 'in the flesh' but that collar looks a bit naff. Apart from that, looks ok to me. Not liking the green on white of the away strip though . I'll work out my advertising charges for MFL before entering into a contract of purchase.

ICT in Challenge Cup
Not exactly a money spinning competition yet they expect cash strapped clubs (and fans) to fork out on some potentially expensive away days. The mind boggles.

Sponsors Night 2016
Shame its not the same week you'll be up Scotty. You deserve to go. I was considering throwing my hat into the ring but won't be able to make that date unfortunately. I concur with The Sponge, it is a great event to attend and a chance to meet the players and have an informal chat.

Highland March - 2016
Highland March – 2016 You may have noticed a distinct lack of information about this seasons Highland March [HM]. Since 2003 the marchers have been taking it upon themselves to walk from ICT’s penultimate game to the last game of the season and in doing so they have raised quite a considerable sum of money for various charities. Since joining the SPL (SPFL) the HM has had to endure the wretched split of the league after 33 games. This means that the HM doesn’t know where the route will be until about four or five weeks prior to setting foot down or up the road. Add to this a mid-week fixture and a week on the road becomes three or four days. In this short timescale the HM has to arrange accommodation which is sometimes already booked up by others as the holiday season gets underway. The HM also has to arrange a support vehicle and all the logistics that go with it. Route planning also takes up a lot of time especially if it’s a new route or tweaking old routes to add a new challenge. Without a sponsor to help costs the HM crew have to foot the bill individually which can be £250-300 each depending on how many are in the team. After a discussion between those that were intending to take part this year it has been decided to cancel this year’s event. As mentioned above, this is a culmination of [mainly] costs, difficulties getting time off work, the awful fixture and exams etc. The HM crew will be hold a meeting later this year to discuss a way forward and attempt to inject some much needed enthusiasm in to the event. Hopefully the HM will return in 2017 with fresh ideas to bring back the good times.

And so it begins...............
ed..That's hitting the nail on the head. Its all about the money and it doesn't matter how much the cheating goes on. Some clubs [well, one in particular] will get away with it. This leaves a bad taste in the mouth of all those decent clubs that go about their business in the right manner.

Inverness CT -V- Dundee Utd
Very poor performance against the bottom side. We were our own worst enemies in continuously giving the ball away. Utds second came from our own goalkick! We lacked pace and idea's again and we did to forward we seemed shot shy and got hassled by the Utd back line and lost possession. On this showing a top six slot seems a long way off.

New Shirt Sponsor announced
Looks like we're eventually going to end up with shirts plastered in sponsors logo's akin to F1. I dread the day

Hearts Away
And herein lies an example as to why its ridiculous to buy tickets in advance for a league match.
