Travel problems Carrbridge
Don't waste your time going down to get your bread and milk etc...they were empty containers returning south. Buses vice trains between Aviemore and Inverness.

It would have taken them hours to come to that conclusion, believe me.

Travel problems Carrbridge
Just to advise any potential rail travellers coming up for the Motherwell game, the railway line between Inverness - Aviemore will be out of use for a while due to a frieght train derailment at Carrbridge. No estimate for getting the route cleared up and repaired. Incident happened just after 1600 today. Could be a while.

Motherwell Roll Call
I shall be keeping a close eye on the weather this week before making my decission to travel up. It doesn't look good at the moment but never say never. I don't suppose the club will advise us of the game on/off situation until late Friday or after a pitch inspection on the Saturday morning - either of which will be next to useless for me. And there's always the Keystones who could have a say like they did for the County game. It's a case of wait and see.

Official - County game is OFF
So what's the answer.......summer football? No...games could be called off because its too hot and melted tar on the roads could cause accidents. Players and fans, too, could become dehydrated or suffer from sunstroke.. :002:

Biggest game of the season...
Can't argue with that. Stranger things have happened in football however, but, it isn't going to happen with ICT - not this season.

Mark Hughes sacked?
Damn disgrace if you ask me.

Who ate all the pies?
No excuse...not for me anyway...an experienced company should have done their market reasearch by checking average crowds at home games and stocked up accordingly. Surely if you run a company starting a new contract you need impress on the first day? As for the pies, they were more expensive and mine was cold and unimpressive. Verdict - must do better....a lot better.

Mrs Gringo's 50th - Queen of the South
Mrs G passes on her thanks to you all for all your best wishes and the marvellous rendition of happy birthday. Sorry it took your attention away from the equaliser! Also sorry we had to leave early to catch the train South - we had to get back in order to meet up with friends back home and go out for a meal. We had a great weekend. :) :D It was also great to meet Dewsburydude and Mrs Dewsburydude for the first time and also catch up with Queen Beastie, Mooncat, Goven Jaggie, Red Card, Wanderer, Naelifts, Mantis, King Beastie and Mrs King Beastie and, of course, IHE who was in fine form. Palmerston Park rocks - long live Palmerston.

Mrs Gringo's 50th - Queen of the South
To all those heading for the game at Queen of the South on the 5th Dec it would be great if we could gather for a birthday sing song for Mrs G who will be 50 years young. Over the years her birthday has fallen on a Saturday and she has enjoyed trips to the seaside (Ayr...Arbroath... :) :) ) but we are coming inland this time for a day out in Dumfries. Go on - make her day. We may have to dash away before the end of the game as the train back is 17:01 and we need to get back for a curry...where friends will be waiting. Hopefully the players and the fans will make her day.

Train back to Glasgow: 1732 (via Carlisle) Arr Glasgow 2001 OR 1834 direct Arr Glasgow 2027. Mrs G and me will be there....it's a home game for us B)

Midweek games
Oh yes! :009: As for the games...both to result in a draw would suit us I reckon.

Partick -V- ICT : matchday thread
Well, that's us out of the title race (not that we were ever in it mind). 15 games in and 5 defeats is not title winning form.
