  1. You called?
  2. Brilliant Steve. Not a bad team he's picked there.
  3. That would explain it then
  4. I can't find it. Not on the Wyness Shuffle list. Is there a linky thingy?
  5. Plenty of old style grounds still in Scotland. I like Ayr too, lots of good times there. Arbroath is also a favourite of mine.
  6. My thoughts on the stadium and crowd have been vented before but it is outwith the clubs remit...kind of. A lot of grounds, including the big one's, lost a lot of atmosphere when all seater stadia was made law. Bring back the terraces so we can all mix together and jump up and down and sing thus creating an atmosphere
  7. Nice one Steve. Great little pod cast that. Interesting subject too and some team he's picked there. I look forward to the others.
  8. Brilliant again guys. All sounds very promising for the future of our club. Lots of seeds being sewn by the sounds of it so lets hope they can grow and not be poisoned by Covid19. Well done.
  9. My vote has been cast. Went for Charlie ahead of Ryan
  10. Would it be worth running through Kingsmills initial post re Starting Again with the CEO or wouldn't that be in his remit?
  11. If you're all at a loose end later on today - Sunday 7th June - tune in to Channel 4 at 1330 (1.30 pm in old money) for some classic football from back in the day. Excitement, goals and controversy. Not ruined by VAR either. Go on, you know you want to.
  12. Not too sure about the hexagons (-) and the sponsors name is not so much ' in your face' so to speak (+) but, yes, I quite like it if I'm honest.
  13. I think it's a sound idea and a lot better than fully part time football. It won't be easy though in securing job transfers etc if we got lads from the central belt.
  14. Just finished this epic and must say it's the best one yet despite the length - well, what else have we got to do anyway. Full credit to Charlie and Ryan for being open and honest. A great insight. You can really feel the passion they both have for ICT. Well done everyone.
  15. Seconded. My choice - Rossco and Bobby Mann. Brewster and Butcher...
  16. Didn't mean to make it sound as if it wasn't interesting as the word waffle tends to suggest lol. I think anything over an hour tends to drag on a bit but if the subject matter holds the listeners attention then you're on a winner. The timestamps are very useful if you want to give the ears a rest and return to a particular section. Must say I enjoy the interviews with players a lot. The Wyness Shuffle is a great thing you do and keeps the likes of me up to speed with what's happening up there.
  17. Enjoyed that guys even if it did 'waffle' on for a bit long. Great to get the views of the chairman. Comes across as a sound guy and loves the club to bits. Had to agree with what he said about football being a social thing and getting the craic before and after a game. That is something that has been missing from the game for a while now. Live TV and weird k.o times have done for that. Keep up the good work.
  18. Just caught up on last three editions. Loved them all and great to hear the views from players past and present. Brilliant, well done all. Polly hates the County - that works for me.
  19. Thanks Jock, hope you're ok down there in Oz. Stay safe bud.
  20. Sad to here this. I hope he makes a full recovery. So many happy memories of his goal scoring feats so lets hope he hits the back of the net with this challenge.
  21. This has probably already been asked but, if it wasn't for the disgusting behaviour of some fans would Liam have stayed at ICT? Also, football after lockdown is going to be very different. There's talk down here in England of games being played behind closed doors. How do you think that will affect players and the game if was introduced in Scotland?
  22. I think it would be a bad move for Robbo if he moved away from ICT. Yes, he may get a better contract with more money but how long would it last?
  23. Yes, met him a couple of times. Quite a chat at the 10 year anniversary ball of the famous Celtic game. Nice chap despite going through some personal issues at the time. A too thought it was a shame he left ICT for Aberdeen where it never worked out for him. I wonder where he'd taken us if he'd stayed.
  24. I was in the same area. The one that got away. How the linesman never saw that we'll never know.
  25. I have nothing on tape from 2002/03. The VCR I have is the only footage I have from this era. Sorry.
