I could assist you in making sure the squad are suitably lubricated by making sure they take in quality fluids whilst in foreign parts.

Highland March 8
After missing out on this years march through injury and getting over seeing the guys depart Somerset Park without me, I took on the role of secondary support to the marchers. What a week it was. I've never laughed so much in years as Carbon Footprint on me took the roads. It gave me an insight into the supporting role to the team and the hard work that goes with it. The HM is and always will be a team effort and would never be the success it is without all the work that goes on in the background, before, during and after the march. My sincere congratulations to Yompa, Gringo Jnr, Dunco and Slater for completing the end to end in what was the toughest HM ever. I will be back next year.

Prediction League
Well done Dewsburydude... :025: I managed a creditable third having played fewer games than the top two. Gotta be happy with that. Thanks to all for running the contest. I look forward to next seasons battle.

Highland March 8
Best wishes to all doing the end to end. This one is by far the toughest and I sincerely hope you can get through the pain and mental barriers. I'll be there in support and crack the whip to any slackers. Sorry I can't join you on the road for the end to end. Carbon Footprint and me will look after you.

Savage News for Highland Council
I can't see the HC writing off any debts especially in the current (so called) financial crisis. Baring in mind Clach have been there before I think Mr Savage may be throwing good money after bad.

Queen of the South away
If going by rail it'll be quicker via Carlisle. All depends what kind of price you get at this short notice. 1011 from Waverley changing at Carlisle will see you into Dumfries for 1257 (dep Carlisle at 1220) On the way back it'll be 1756 from Dumfries to Carlisle change there for the 1904 to Waverley (arr 2055)
