  1. Its a very pleasant walk and you'll get extra day light hour too. Some stunning views out that way. Would love to do it again but work will interfere on this occasion. Plus I'm struggling to be fit for the big event on the 24th.
  2. They must have heard you... :(
  3. "That Kermit dude isn't as good as CaleyD"

  7. I'm with you there DavieB. I'd love us to win the league but don't want to go up. How bad is that? Surely every football fan woud want to see and support their in the top flight of their particular organisation but, for me, the SPL doesn't hold any special feelings for me. It is a league that is dominated by the twins of evil and, until a shake up in its structure, they always will be. Yes, the club would recieve more money from sponsors / tv and all that but, at the end of the day, the product on the pitch would be boring. We had five seasons in the SPL and all we had to look forward to was trying to attain a top six finish - how exciting was that? There is also the fact that fixtures will be shifted for tv so planning ahead (like I have to) becomes difficult resulting in that 'can't be ersed' to bother senario. I have enjoyed the 11 games I've been to this season and look forward to at least two more before the end. Love the SFL, hate the SPL.
  8. St Mirren's win also did Falkirk's bid to escape the SPL the power of good. :004:
  9. So what you're saying is...Ayr today, gone tomorrow. :P

I thought it was a very well written book and mapped out Pele's life very well. I too never knew he was going through all that trouble with his drinking and gambling illness whilst at ICT. There were a few incidents as I recall but it never really came into the public domain until he went to Aberdeen. There were 'rumours' on CTO mind.. :P What a damn shame he never took action sooner to overcome his addictions. It makes me wonder where he'd be today in football had he done so. There was one quote that brought a smile to my face because of its irony and it was this:- ‘I was furious with Ross at half-time. “You can get to fuck” I ranted. “I don’t want you here. As far as I’m concerned you can walk back Inverness” Poor Rosco left the dressing room, still in his kit and actually made to make his way home before thinking how ridiculous that would be’ This was referring to Rossco's sending off at Ayr in our 5-1 League Cup drubbing. I wonder if Rossco would have taken this years Highland March route from Ayr to Inverness via the WHW?? :023:
  11. If they're on the pitch they are all important....team game and all that but, if nobody is putting the ball in the net we wouldn't be getting anywhere. So, with that in mind, it has to be Rooney for me. :024:
  12. I'm hoping RC have one eye on their cup replay on Saturday and give us the chance to grab three points. However, after watching the highlights of their performance at Easter Road it isn't going to be easy. A win at RC would certainly go some way to increasing the optimism.
  13. Can I add Mrs G to the list please (from the Innes). Thanks. I will be walking there and back with Jnr.
  14. Yes, I think I would, why not. 'Supporting' a Highland team in a major cup final sounds like a good idea and a great day out. I'm sure, if the boot was the other foot, some of their supporters would come and support us.
  15. Behave... :D
  16. I'm working in Glasgow for a few days this week so, hopefully, I'll make it across to Greenock for my first game of the year.
  17. You can't spell 'quiz'...that's why you came second... :022:

  21. I think Terry should have been 'sacked' from his England duties. He is the one that did wrong not Wayne Bridge. I don't blame Wayne for not wanting to take part.

  23. Something tells me they aren't going to sell many Mars Bars up there... :P
  24. I would have of agree with that SMEE. It's all about money grabbing and ripping off the fans. TV and sponsorship is to blame I reckon.
  25. EPL v CL Don't they get enough money as it is without reverting to this pointless idea.
