Dear Board and Chairman of ICT Having watched the BBC programme tonight on the Rangers fiasco, and seriously thinking about the facts and findings of their investigations, I will be extremely disappointed if this club decides that a Rangers Newco are admitted straight into the SPL. Rangers are seen to have done many things against the laws of the land in order to achieve success in the game and if you vote in favour of admitting any Newco then you are condoning, no! aiding and abetting in the breaking of law and I will not support that decision. Scotty, correct there were no sanctions against Dundee, Livi or Motherwell from SPL. They did, however, all find a way out of administration. There main debts were to the banks and not the taxman. The Rangers people hope that they can form a new company, transfer all the assets and stay in the SPL. Meanwhile the original company will be liquidated, have no assets so will not be in a position to pay anything to their creditors. Basically the Newco is starting with a clean sheet, the Oldco dies and many many people become out of pocket. If the SPL membership votes to allow that then I'm sorry but they are not worth supporting.

If Rangers are allowed to stay as a Newco with no sanctions then they will have been granted that by the SPL member clubs. That would say to me that all the clubs condone what Rangers have done and, therefore, all the clubs, including ICT, will be guilty of failing to support sporting integrity.

As mentioned by a few on the Rangers admin thread that they would stay away if things go as hinted I'd like to guage the level of support against such an action. Personally I am one of those who'll find another sport to support. Shinty's a good day out nowadays.

Proctor, we only miss out if we actually go for someone and another team wins out. Think Elliott is being released because he's a high earner so unless he's likely to take a big drop then I'm sure he wont come to us. Blackie left us for three ttimes what he earned with us and he's now being released along with a few other high earners at Hearts.

If Mr Doncaster wants to ignore the views of some 60,000 football fans in Scotland who have petitioned that they will walk away from football if such a thing does happen then on his head be it. Whats better? Save Rangers by changing the rules and bowing down to the contempt they hold for their creditors or lose that many fans of the game.

There is a question mark over the ownership of Murray Park. Some suggestion that it is still owned by Murray Group. I'm sure I also read recently that the Murray Park grounds are on leasehold and that there is a clause in the lease to the effect that it can only ever be used for sporting facilities.

To be fair one of the best games of football I've ever gone to watch was Scottish League Cup Final at McDairmid between Inverness and Forfar Farmington. The bridie eaters won it that time. That was back in 2005 when the girls were ICTLFC. They have done very well over the years since to reach the Premier League. And what season was it they got promoted? 08/09 Ladies went up when ICT went down. Not sure why the affiliation with ICT broke down but I seem to remember it was something to do with a power struggle between coaches. Oddquine, there's very little jiggling busts in ladies football............in fact theres very little bust among many of the players, but many of the teams do play some really good football. Personally I dont see ladies football as an equality thing any more than I see it in any other sport. But then I went to a primary school with a total of 38 kids all ages. If we wanted to play football we had to rope in the girls. And that was way before the word equality ever became popular.

Exactly why we shopuld trim the whole operation down and invest in QUALITY not quantity. £1m investment a year - you are having a laugh - more spin - this club has NEVER invested anywhere near this amount but would like us to think so. The whole thing is financed by grants and sponsorship. The club's return on investment is EXCEPTIONAL! Seems to me its you doing the spin. I never said the club invested that amount. I said thats what it costs. The football club does however invest in youth. The club takes on a number of apprentices every year. That means wages and insurances have to be paid for players and coaches. Off course the club invests. The bottom line in all this though is that perhaps the product at the end just isnt good enough for top flight. Anyone can see a bit of talent at someones feet but it takes a deal more than that to be a professional footballer. We dont see the attitude off the pitch. We dont see the effort put into training. I'm sure all those things are considered when choosing who to give contracts to and who to let go. Many of the contributers on this thread can only see, and be affected by, those youths that are being let go.They fail to see that the club are also keeping some.

So we dont invest in youth?? Hundreds of kids come through our system at a cost the I believe to be close on a million a year. Look at the investment and look at the end products. The most recent of those being Morrison, Sutherland, Ross and Shinnie. Prior to those I can only think of Munro and Ike Fraser and even going back to HL days of both clubs there are only a handful who have come through Inverness on their way to success. The highlands dont have the ability to produce a conveyor belt of talent but the odd one will come through. We do, however, make investment in the hope that something good will appear.
