  1. Looking like the change to summer football for the ladies leagues is having a detrimental effect on Sandy Corcoran and his team. http://women.soccerway.com/teams/scotland/inverness-lfc/ A couple of real hammerings so far.

Ok ymip, can you name any of those good enough Scottish players who'll join us for under £700 a week? There's as much chance of unearthing a gem from Colwyn Bay as there is from Raith or Arbroath. Butcher has brought in some not so good players but then so has every manager we've had. Some of those we've though of as duds are maybe very good players if they get a chance to string a few games together with the same team. Sadly that is something that hasn't happened all season. Personally I aint fussed where our players come from but I'd love to watch the same eleven start for a string of games.
  3. The latest Blue Knights bid has been rejected. Will this whole saga ever end?
  4. Dont think EBT was used in Butchers day. However, I do think folk are being a bit unfair on him. He has stated a worst case scenario. One where TV and advertising pull out if Rangers go. If that were to happen then teams like ICT would have to take drastic measures to make the sums add up. Possibly part time football in the SPL. That is the worst case and the one Butcher mentions. Personally I dont think that case would arise. I think there would still be a product that TV would see as a money maker and I also think the powers that be will get their heads together and put things in place that will improve that product.
  5. Thats the standards we face
  6. The player budget is being cut so I think we'll see a few youngsters coming in next season.
  7. They actually worry me......I remember our first season up.........we were giant killers
  8. I so wish they'd just lay down and die. As for who takes their place......nows the time for Falkirk, Dundee, Hamilton and Livingston.......oops we need a fifth....Partick to come into the new league.......basically SPL GTF. Scottish Leagues thrive and Doncaster can kiss my proverbial.
  9. Your right Libero. When I posted I was thinking more of what they would need to score against Dunfermline. Never accounted for them scoring against us.
  10. I can see more of our own youngsters getting the chance.
  11. Why 1/12th of 48%? Make it a fair split of finances i.e. No lions share to the OF and the figures will balance.
  12. As things stand at the moment Richard they need seven more goals to overtake us.
  13. Just to show I'm not bitterly against County...........congratulations to Derek Adams on being chosen by the PFA as Manager of the Year.
  14. 1-0

My conclusion is that bank holiday boredom is getting a grip of you Yngwie
  15. Does the following paragraph say that the Aberdeen press are liars "I've spoken to the manager but I'm not going to make a decision on my future until after the Hibs game," insisted Hayes. "I think there's been contact from Aberdeen, but the only guy I'm talking to is Terry Butcher. I'm ambitious and I want to push on, but I've had a good sit down with the manager and I'm happy with where he's coming from with regard to next season." or does it say Jonny's staying?
  16. Knowing that one or two staggies are lurking in the background how about a response. Do we hate you more than you hate us?
  17. For pete's sake Dougal, get a life. Its called BANTER

  19. Some people appear to be very ungrateful. Freezing the prices is a discount. Early bird is a discount. Only three weeks to find money to qualify for early bird. Sorry but this offer has been made every season so you've had a years notice at least.Early bird for North stand is equivalent to £16 a game. One of the better deals in the league and yet some still feel the need to complain.
  20. Miller is / was a shareholder in Healthsports Inc. He had nothing whatsoever to do with the running of that company. He maybe has been involved in a couple of enterprises that have failed but he has also made a fortune out of taking companies that were on their knees and turning them around. He is reported as a man who is hurt by failure and thrives on success. He obviously believes he can turn Rangers around.
  21. Ian Black will easily find a team down south that can pay him similar to his Hearts wage. Neither us nor County could afford to match that.
  22. So expect Scottish football to fall flat on its face very soon.
  23. Integrity is about honesty and trust. The SPL is run by dishonest people who cant be trusted. Are we willing to support that and continue to be the laughing stock of the world or do we support an entertainment media that does display integrity? Gabby, your assumptions on losses are based on lies from the leaders of the SPL and the idea that TV would walk away from a league without Rangers. No TV company has come forward and said they would walk away. The only persons who indicated such are those who were in the pockets of Rangers and Celtic. If Scottish football cant be successful without Rangers then Scottish football doesn't deserve to survive.
  24. Avoiding tax is one thing. Failing to pay the tax and National Insurance of their staff is something totally different. If that is not paid then its the employee's who lose out in the benefits available. Pensions could be affected. Sick pay could be affected. Rangers have, illegally, held on to money that is the employee's contribution to the state. If that goes unpunished then the whole system is a total farce and one that I couldn't be supportive of. Lets look at whats really happening. The American is buying the assets and the business from Rangers FC for an undisclosed sum. That sum will go towards paying off the debt Rangers owe though I dont see it being enough to totally clear all debt so an element of CVA will happen. Many people will lose out. They cant now sue against the assets because these no longer belong to Rangers FC. Rangers FC have a banning order against hiring players over 19. I presume this ban will not apply to the newco. The newco will have no debt so will they be allowed a Uefa licence? It seems to me that a squeeky clean Rangers will emerge from all this with no sanctions against them while the old company will just disappear into the mire without punishment for their years of fraudulent history.
  25. Think many are missing my point. My views are nothing to do with boycott of individual teams. I refuse to have anything to do with a corrupt football league. A league so corrupt that they will support a team that has broken the law of the land. Sorry but I wont support that. If I dont pay my due taxes I could go to jail. They dont pay and get off with it and with full support of the league.
