This is not about punishing a particular team. This is about protesting against the enethical means by which this new Rangers are going to be treated in the SPL. Sorry but if the clubs vote to accept the new Rangers then I wont be supporting the clubs. I will be one of the 60 odd thousand Scottish football fane who have indicated they will stop supporting Scottish football. The message to the clubs is simple. Drop the newco team and survive of accept the newco team and die.

I will not vote in the poll. League integrity should not need to be paid for. Break the rules accept the punishment. If a new Rangers stay in the SPL I will be restricting my football attendance, as will many others. If the funds available are more evenly spread then clubs shouldnt feel the demise of Rangers. If fans stay away because the league cannot maintain any sort of integrity, and allow Rangers Newco entry, then clubs will be hit even harder. Having a deal more time on my hands now I may decide to purchase a couple of season tickets for next season but I will hold that decision until I know what happens with Rangers.

Would have loved to be at the game wed night but sadly I have to be in Edinburgh to celebrate my retirement.

hahahaha no kidding! Infact we almost deserve to go down on this seasons performances. With the recent turnaround in DAFC's performances I'd say we were the worst team in the division and have to agree we probably do deserve to go down . Cant agree with your so called turnaround. They've won one and drawn three in last ten games. Exactly the same as we have done. What we need to do is match them starting with a draw on wed night.

Personall I think our discipline record is bad enough without adding to it.......................................................but I'd still have Blackie back.

It never ceases to amaze me the way folks get their knickers in a twist about something with such a blinkered attitude. GMS impressed at Clach. We are an SPL team. Clach are Highland league and not really doing that well there. Of course he's going to impress at Clach. GMS is doing very well in Dundee and fits in well with the team around him. Would he have fitted in as well with the team we'd have provided around him? Would he even fit in so well with any other of the top flight teams? Nobody knows so getting all het up about what never happened is just plain stupid.

The fantasist thinks ICT have a god given right to be in the top half of the league with a team of stars. The realist thinks we are doing very well, with our financial handicap, to still be in the league. ICT, like St Mirren, Aberdeen, Killie, Hibs, St Johnstone etc will always be fighting to stay up first and foremost. The rest will be a bonus. Thats the view of a realist.

The 12,000 retained tickets are not just for VIP's. They also go to players guests and hospitality.

So a few Rangers fans are going to affect Vauxhall, Tesco, Mars, Carling, MacDonalds, Bank of Scotland and Willie Hills. Thats them screwd for their staple diet then.

The Inverness teams v Elgin was probably a bigger rivalry than anything involving County simply because there was a decent road between Inverness and Elgin whereas a trip between Inverness and Dingwall merited a long queue at the ferry of a long journey round the Beauly Firth. I would imagine that a big proportion of the ICT fans of today to be less than 45 year old so their earliest memories of derby's are likely to be against County hence the modern day penchance that County are the biggest rivals.

Nice to see the 'Butchers bad for not attending' brigade continue the one debate yet choose to ignore any debate on the poor turnout by many of those who claimed to support Grant and Russell but couldn't be ersed making the effort. How many of those who did turn up came across the bridge on a day ticket. For a testimonial like this one I would have expected at least double the actual turnout considering over 7300 turned out for Barry

Is it not also possible that he stayed away out of respect for those two players? Personally I cant see what the big deal is one way or the other. Perhaps it would be a more apt debate if the subject was the many fans who never turned up. My own reason was that I couldn't get a heli for a few hours.

Waken up man. There are 5 investors - the Inverness Courier tells us 4 are abroad and 1 in Inverness. Richard Smith is defo not the 5th member! I am awake.....thats why I ask the question. I see no reason why the person appointed by the consortium to look after their interests at board level could not also be the Inverness based member of this consortium but if you say he's not then I'll take your word for it.
