  1. These statements are typical of the egotistical Mr Butcher. He has a squad of some very good players but he doesn't have a team. A person can make a mistake and that mistake may result in the opposition scoring but a team would get it together and counter the mistake. Put eleven of the worlds best players together and chances are they wont be a team. Think England have proven that on many occassions. There's no team spirit with us. There's nobody capable of holding everyone together as a team. Nobody directing play. No doubt I'll face the wrath of some but Richie Foran is not a captain. He's a screamer and a moaner but not a director of play. Of the squad we have I've probably seen some seventy five percent play exceptionally well in games and I believe most can yet we aren't able to string a couple of wins together. Why? Because there is little or no emphasis on team work. That is proven by the managers after match quotes. Terry, its the team who lost this game not the individuals. And you are a part of the team. Terry, digest the bold bits and then either put up and shut up or ship out. Nothing will work without the TEAM
  2. In answer to the question. No he isn't................................................that honour was copyright protected by Don Taylor many years ago.
  3. Think I'm going to show support for HM by walking to this game
  4. Spokesman for the resignee's Mr Graeme Bennett told News International this morning, "1st of April 2012 will be remembered for many years to come as the day the fools won out and changed the face of ICT forever".
  5. I would guess that £250k would get them around 12%. On top of that they've negotiated the voting rights on 30% shareholding held by Sutherland's trust. What that means I dont know.
  6. Shock Horror..............SPL in common sense crisis.
  7. Didn't airdrie buy out Clydebank and relocate to airdrie? Couple of differences. 23 miles against 170. Clydebank were going to the wall anyway, as had Airdrieonians. One team was resurrected out of two dead ones.
  8. Suppose thats the shortfall on this seasons income taken care of. What about next and the next after that?
  9. Because if they were to reach a stage where they had to take over another club to keep the name going then they wont have a stadiumof their own. Liquidation means sell off everything to pay the debt
  10. No doubt Alex...your the type of man that would put his children Second to Football. But i take my role as a Father seriously and like to take my Children as often as i can. Even more so than going to football! And me doth think you exhagerate somewhat by stating im "forever" telling yous why i dont make many games. I think it has maybe been mentioned a couple of times over about 10+ years that i been on these forums! But i will make allowances, since its you! and for the record, i have probably seen about a dozen or so ICT games this season, either in person on TV (in full). But I dont purport to be an UBER-FAN of ICT.. . especially these days Considering there 26, 24 and 18 I dont think I need to put them second to anything.
  11. No, sorry friend but you are the deluded one if you can take the statement your referring to and turn it into the statement your making. And just for you I'll reproduce my original below. Please note the word If at the beginning of my sentence. If everything is working well with this team you can be assured SMEE will come along and throw a spanner in the works. I do wonder, considering he's forever telling us how he can't get to games due to children, how many performances he's actually seen. Now, obviously you need help in the translation here so let me decipher. If the world was black SMEE would say it was white.
  12. Think your reading too much into things. For your suggestion to happen Rangers would need to relocate to Inverness. They moan about coming here to play. Cant see us being the new Rangers.
  13. Does anyone care? He's a crook and should really be in jail.
  14. Wasn't at that meeting but I do wonder if confusion has arisen by the use of the word 'Trust'. Did Sutherland say he would transfer his shareholding to Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust or did he say Inverness Caledonian Thistle Trust Ltd. The latter is a company registered in 2000 by Sutherland and it would be very easy for the brain to register he was referring to the former when in fact it was the latter. As I say, I wasn't there but I do remember the reports at the time and thinking he was going to be very generous but now the more I look at it I wonder if I also took the wrong meaning from what was said.
  15. Isn't that biased since you have a bet on the Buddies going down? Are you saying that you don't enjoy your trips to the Alamo? This thread title is starting to bug me every time I log on. They're top of the league.... but we're still above them! I'll fix it for you
  16. Where did he say this? He was reported to have said it pre-match. Seen it in one of mondays papers

If only things were that simple
  18. Aye, and Granpa Broon describes us as 'Highland Undesirables'. Wait till the central belt sympathisers have to double their journey's along the A9.
  19. and neanwhile seventh and more prize money is a distinct possibility.
  20. I've no doubt this group mean well, just as others have in the past, and I'm sure their money is welcome. I do, however have trepidations about who they are and what they intend to bring. £250k is the initial investment Mr Savage made which gave him a 12% share so I dont see how, as suggested, the same amount would give others a greater share unless the shares Mr Sutherland is transferring relinquish any voting right. I'm inclined to think that people have misinterprated the press here though in that Muirfield Mills intention is not to take over Sutherlands shareholding but to dilute it by buying up some free shares. Mr Savage, give him his due, has continued to invest in the club with sponsorship. What will Muirfield invest? Mr Sutherland and other board members have bankrolled us in times of hardship. Are Muirfield going to do that. I fear that this group is investing a pittance for control of a plaything. Finally, if this group are set up as a company calling themselves Muirfield Mills why have they not yet registered with Companies House?

  22. The big problem with both halves of the OF is that their heads are so far up their proverbial they actually believe all they say.
  23. If everything is working well with this team you can be assured SMEE will come along and throw a spanner in the works. I do wonder, considering he's forever telling us how he can't get to games due to children, how many performances he's actually seen.
  24. Cant see many first team players from either team playing in this one. County are away to Morton the day before and we will be playing that day as well and could even find ourselves playing for tv on that sunday.
  25. True. It is possible, I guess I meant I think it unlikely we will reach 7th. And the reason for that is that after their confidence boosting league cup win, I can't see Killie dropping enough points against the other bottom 6 clubs to allow us to catch them. We win our game in hand, win all our other games then beat Killie and its ours
