  1. Brilliant for highland football and gets it right up the central erses.
  2. Never comment cos I cant be ersed with such selfish people.
  3. Why would 7th not be possible. We're only 6 behind Killie with a game in hand
  4. The difference between the Centenary club and the Super J's lottery is that ours has fixed prizes whereas there's has a roll-over element that can go over twenty grand. As the prize fund climbs more people enter it so more cash comes in.
  5. As things stand right now County could be champions next week
  6. Killie 2-0 up. If that stays the same and Celtic win tomorrow the leagues over.
  7. Shore up the defence and protect the lead
  8. Being as how our official site is so packed with information about our players I'm left wondering who Mathison is. I presume U-19 keeper.
  9. Cant remember who but I think we also had a sell on fee for someone. May have been Robson.

Every team needs a good keeper. They also need a good number two. Tuffey is still very young and will learn a great deal more from Esson so I'd be advising him to stay. Mike Fraser had his critics on here but showed he had something and as the years have gone on he is now coming to his full potential and doing very well. Very few of the great keepers showed there true form until they got to very late teens/early thirties.
  11. I go with renegades team
  12. Never mind Hibs.....Beat aberdire tomorrow then the fermers on wed
  13. They also run a thriving catering facility. There restuarant is full every day for lunches and they have fairly busy conferencing, wedding, funeral receptions etc throughout the year. Their lottery is promoted in almost every pub in town and they have some very good sponsorship deals with the bigger local business's. They may be short on fans but they are very good at other aspects of the income business.
  14. So you identify a player who can help you achieve a short term objective but because its short term he will not uplift his kids from school to relocate. He is willing to stay up for some of the week but wants additional time to be with his family. You just say no bearing in mind that he is what you need?
  15. Oh ye of little faith
  16. In actual fact CD, if fans want to invest they still can, provided the board approve the request.
  17. Your pretty well correct in your first sentence bauhaus. If the heart stops then the person is deemed clinically dead for the time it takes to get the heart back to a working rhythm. In that time artificial means would be employed to keep oxygen pumping to the brain. And with that in mind I would urge anyone and everyone to learn heart start techniques. You never know when your actions could save a life. I hope they find that the Fabrice has a repairable fault with his heart and that he gets back to top flight football.
  18. According to reports today Fabrice is on the mend. He's concious and fully aware of whats going on. Even asked his Dad if they'd got beat on saturday so looks like he'll come good soon.
  19. You are the manager of a team, like ours. A team thats seen by many to be in some backwoods with little transport routes and miles from civilisation. Much like the rest of the country see ICT. Most of your players live within the locale, even though they come from all corners of the country. You desire a couple of very good players on one year deals but they will only sign if they dont have to uplift and move their family. You agree to there request that they be allowed extra time to travel to see their families during the week. No problem there. The guys are professional and you know they will commit more to training and matchplay when they are around the club. There are times, in the week, you may want players in for extra training or the club may be asking that you provide players for a bit of PR or community work. No problem. There's plenty of local guys you can ask to do a bit extra. And this is where the problems start. Some of these local guys object to the fact that you've agreed with a couple that they would be exempt from this so they can travel south to visit family as per the agreed contract. These local guys are unhappy, and begin to rock the boat a bit, because they see it as unfair that one or two are not doing the extra work. Thats the scenario so, puting your best managers hat on, how are you going to deal with this situation? I know what my thoughts are but I'm interested in the thoughts of others. And I dont want to see members slating other members for what they right. Just good honest answers to this dilemma.
  20. Before the split we have: Aberdeen (A) St Johnstone (H) Hibs (H) St Johnstone (A) I believe we'll take enough from these games to ensure that post split wont matter, though I believe we will take points post split as well. If there's unrest at Hibs then they're going to struggle. I dont see Jefferies making any difference with what he's got to play with. Aberdeen and St Mirren are both faltering just now. Trust me its all rosie wanderer.
  21. 15 ahead with 24 availabe to Dundee and 21 available to Falkirk. They fail now and they deserve to drop right down to the third
  22. Ya can stick yer blue and white up yer ***e Seriously though, regardless of what we think about quality etc, we are committed to Errea in a deal that is benificial, and is working, for both club and supplier and so long as people buy replicas then I dont see that changing. There is no comparrison with them across the bridge because they dont have a manufacturers deal. They buy what they fancy and get their women to iron on the rest. Last year it was Adidas this year Nike. Next year it could be home woven flax from the peat bogs of Ross-shire that the dolly-pegs are holding on the line strung between the chrome plated 'Hobby' trailers.
  23. I've a tenner riding on us finishing above Aberdire
  24. To be fair we do look like scoring. We made Cammy Bell work hard for his money. We just aint getting the ball in the net. Personally I'm confident we'll stay up. Looking at the remaining fixtures and records between the various teams I think Dunfermline have a harder run in than us but on saying that Hibs could be the ones who have the toughest run in to the split. All depends, after that, on how much gap still has to be made up but I feel we will have enough gap. I also feel that if we can make use of our game in hand we will be twelve clear of the bottom at the split.
  25. Looking at their last few games Luke, I dont think they've been showing frailties so much as the other teams are trying harder knowing the championship is slipping away from them.
