Party in the Park
Why do so many assume it'll be rock or pop. Schiehallion are usually free on a saturday afternoon though I did hear that SuBo has been rehearsing with the Legion Pipeband for a Mull of Kintyre esque type number.

Ireland
Not really. If i remember right Foran was kicked out of Ireland U-21's for misdeameanours of the field. hayes and Rooney are both young lads and have done nothing till coming to us. they need to prove themselves at a higher level then they'll very likely be noticed.

Support
The club have tried this. Three or four years ago when the subject came up the club held over a large part of section G so those of a like mind had the opportunity to purchase season tickets for that area. the uptake didn't happen sadly. if you want that area to get bigger then buy a season for it is the best way to secure it.

Gavin Morrison
He is signed I think. Was he not one given a contract in jan just before being sent to Elgin

Pitch invasion(s)
You may have hit the proverbial nail there DD. There are people who, for a big part if the season, always found something about the club or the team to complain about. The team achieves exactly what they set out to do at the start of the season so there is no complaint there. Dillemma......I know, lets pick on those who want to enjoy the success.

Unofficial party venue?
Aye well dont go to the Gellions if you're wearing your ICT top , i went there on Saturday night when i came off the train & was told i wasnt allowed in wearing my ICT top the bouncer said its not a football pub ! I asked if its not a football pub then how come they've always got 3 screens on showing footie ? :D You'd think the Gellions one of the oldest pubs in town would be chuffed to welcome any ICT fans & encourage celebration for the Local team :D I had same thing happen to me last year at Hoots, told to take ICT scarf off or leave, because they don't allow football colours. I did point out to the staff that they were wearing black t-shirts, identical to ICT away top at the time. Funny how the didn't seem to think I was funny :blush02: For us it will be the Innes for 12, game, Innes, then who knows. I had to hide my scarf last time in Hoots. Night of RC game. Doorman didn't bother. Even asked me the score. Manager didn't like it though.

Pitch invasion(s)
Yes, I am one of the sweetie rustlers and did not invade the pitch. However as a season ticket holder who has been to all the home matches, cup and league, as well as the majority of the away games I think I have the right to celebrate how I want. And I don't want the club to incur a fine. I just hope that all those who invaded the pitch now buy season tickets, support the team through good and bad times, and don't just turn out to be glory hunters. There were quite a few "supporters" yesterday in blue tops - old scum blue tops. Ecxuse any typing errors but now that I am home just having a wee celebratory shandy! Two contradictory points today Hearach. 1. A hearach drinking shandy?? Not a chance. 2. You'd be more pleasing on the eye than Erica Rowe.

What are you trying to say there? You have no right to criticise the boys in the way they celebrated, just the same that we have no right to criticise the way you celebrated. I never went on the pitch until after the final whistle ( and then I just ambled on with a few guys when they opened the gate). No harm was done, and the club haven't come out and said something (which I am sure that they will do if they got fined). Also notice how not one other supporter from another club have complained about it - probably because they would have done the same thing. Let the boys enjoy it, and don't detract from what was good natured joviality handled in the right way. Before you jump on your high horse at the hearach I think they were referring to certain fans in rangers tops at the game. I'd also like to know why a supporter of ICT would go to a game in a rankers top.

Bennett
I have to agree with the majority on here and say that the OP is wrong in all he writes. Graeme Bennett is as entitled as anyone else employed by this club to share in the celebrations. Believe it or not he actually works very hard at what he does and I dont think its right to single him out for any form of abuse. Perhaps the OP should think before he / she posts, realise he / she does not represent the majority. Indeed I'd be surprised if there was a minority of more than one or two who feel GB does not deserve any credit.

Unofficial party venue?
All fans can't afford to go to the official party. Look at the thread title. Drummossie is not an official anything. Its Roy's testimonial dinner.

Gavin Morrison
Gavin played at Elgin last week. I think he may have been recalled because Cox was ill. Apparantly both he and Shane have set the heather on fore with Elgin and I think it was a great gesture to his committment that he was selected for a debut. I'm sure you've all seen a future star.

Pitch invasion(s)
In my opinion this clip does not show any match action. The beginning shows players standing around and a ball being positioned. The taker of the free kick is not seen as he takes it. Only the ball rolling into the net is seen. Looking at the invasion. Seems to me there are more photographers than fans on the pitch.

A message from the chairman
If anyones going to take negatives out of what I thought was a very positive statement then I'm not surprised who. First part of the season wasn't of the standard we were maybe used to but, considering we had so many new players, we eventually got it together and achieved the goal. Trouble was that some fans had no patience. Starchief, if you couple what has been said by Fraser with what Butcher has said then I'm inclined to think that George may be referring to non playing staff and all the changes involved in being back in SPL. Forming a new U-19 team. Office staff. Return to hospitality etc, etc.

This mod agree's. If the thread starts to turn into a slagging match between those who approve and those who dont it will be closed. It's only high spirits after a very nervous season.

Ayr Utd -V- ICT : Post-Match Thread
Really pleased for young Morrison, even if he did get a yellow for his celebration.
