  2. I should get the vote for it was me who influenced johnboy
  3. Going straight back up holds a certain euphoria but was it worth it. No. Given the quality of the SPL this season I would have thought we'd have had a great chance, had we stayed up, of fighting in the top six. But then hindsight is a great thing.
  4. People, could you please refrain from getting personal. Personally I would hope the management already know where the shortfalls are and have ideas in place to address them.

Be hearted by the fact that none of our squad signed a pre-contract.
  6. I hope the cup is presented on the last day. I believe there are a lot of Dundee fans booked for this game since they thought it would be a title decider one. I'd imagine they'll still make the journey for the day out.
  7. 0/5 Ok then The answer to No 1 must be nobody then. LDZ was sent of in the 29th minute (according to match report on this site). Is no 3 an Insurance broker. Still think I'm right with No 5
  8. Can we just enjoy the remainder of this season and all the celebrations that go with it first
  9. I re-iterate everything said above. Well done to all concerned with this club from the major shareholder and the chairman right down to the youngsters who stand out in all weathers selling programmes and draw tickets. And a big well done to the support who started to believe and get behind the team. Once more ICT have shown the rest that money doesn't buy success. Team spirit, camaraderie and a belief in ability are the ingredients of a succesful team and we have that in abundance. Roll on next season.

  11. Miss ICT I know how you feel regarding bad omens. I have been having an awful week. Everything has been going wrong. Have mislaid some important documents and despite turning the house upside down have not found them. Then my son lost 10-2 whilst playing football last night. However, things can only get better right. A good win tomorrow will make everything ok. Regarding the ticket Im sure as already mentioned the club will sort it out. Well Old Girl I see your bad week as a positive. You see, last week I set of for the Qos game at 8pm Thursday. I got a puncture in first 2 miles. Changed wheel, spare was one of those 50MPH things, so set of at 50MPH to Newcastle. After another 10 min, smelt steam. Stopped again, opened bonnet ,luckily only overflow from wiper water. Arrive Newcastle 11.30pm. Shower not working. Hotel full, so no chance of changing. Bath took over half hour to fill. Breakfast was crap in morning. When I got to Callander, I realised I had left my mobile phone in Newcastle. End result a whopping 3-1 victory. All is not as bad as it seems :) Is that something you should say to a woman?
  12. All of those making selections would have based their choice on what they saw against their team so there's every chance our players were not performing well on those particular days. Its easier for us as fans to make choice based on a full season.
  13. Fact is, unless we're SPL, we get little or no mention on any TV channel. This apply's to all lower league teams, not just us.
  14. I believe so. One of the conditions of the council providing funds was that Inverness would be incorporated into the name. I think the name change came before the Longman was built.
  15. Get the person who owns the UK address to buy it for you and post it on.

  20. With Grant out who's the captain tomorrow. My money's on Rossco.
  21. Just this minute gotten around to reading this thread and I'd like to make a few points that may, hopefully, stop the 'clique' insinuations and other suspicions. 1. Kath Fraser is the bus co-ordinator for the Supporters Club. This is a membership club, funded by membership fees and fund raising. The buses are subsidised by the Supporters Club. Supporters Club members know the travel plans and rules of travel and make their own choice whether or not to use the bus (es). Members of the Supporters Club have first chance to a seat on the bus (es). Non members have travelled if a seat was available. 2. Many who are complaining are not members of the Supporters Club so have no right to complain. 3. The Supporters Trust are running a bus to the Ayr match. This is a one off and is, I believe, extra to the Supporters Club arrangements. The Trust are opening their bus to any fan looking for transport to this game. They have also organised their timing and routing differently to the Supporters Club. It may well be, come next year, that both or either of the above organisations run buses. It may well be that we'll see the ressurection of the 'Innes' bus. Maybe the football club will run buses. Each and every one of those options are available but the bottom line will have a lot to do with cost. Buses need to be booked in advance and paid for in full regardless of numbers of seats filled so, if people want them available they must commit to them. Our first couple of seasons in SPL seen the Supporters Club running two buses. This diminished to not being able to fill one in recent times. Kath Fraser done a great job of organising but some people preferred a different approach so made other arrangements. If people want a bus, and the demand is there, to get them there earlier it can be arranged but the demand and committment has to be there also. Remember though that no matter who runs the buses or when they travel and with whom alcohol is banned on all buses in Scotland. The driver can be fined up to ?1000.
  22. Where you coming from? Edinburgh Waverley 0803 - Perth ?7 single Perth 0950 - Inverness ?22.40 Day return Leave Inverness 18.43 Perth 21.02 to Waverley ?7 single TOTAL ?36.40 Splitting journey like that can save quite a bit. Trainline .com
  23. I think you are allowed to play in the rules if you are 21. Its three players under 21 you need in a squad for each match isn't it? How many of our players meet this requirement just now?Cox,Hayes,Odhiambo,Shinnie,Ross? I'm guessing Rooney is at least 22 now is well so not him. We really need to have a few good under 21's in the team to do well in the SPL. I think the reason Rory managed to gain a lot SPL games for us was more because of the rule rather than for his skill. Meaning the youth's really do have a part to play in the season. According to this site Rooney will be 23 on 21st of this month. We need a team of competing U-21's for SPL membership so there shouldn't be a shortage. This site is a wealth of information if people would just take the time to explore it. Adam Rooney will be 22 this April born 21st April 1988 - :D Classic fail . I can count. Can you lot read? As I said the info came from this site which has Adams birth year as 87. I also checked that against Soccerbase which also has 87. ICTFC info has mistakes for many of our squad so
  24. Alan savage will invest in Clach provided his money goes to the club and not to pay debtors according to STV. What I read into this is Savage is saying to the council that, if they write off the debt owed so far, they will be paid future rental in full. The club will survive and prosper and jobs etc will remain. Any others think the same?
