ICT -V- Morton : matchday thread
In the days of the Munro throw we had a few big guys in the box that could head a ball. Dont have them now.

Team for County
With luck the County heads will be too filled with the cup replay on 23rd than league on 20th.

Wingers On The Wrong Sides
I would like to think that Butcher will have done his homework and placed people where they'd be more effective against the opposite number.

ICT -V- Morton : matchday thread
Eleven league games without defeat. Another win. Three above County. Three below Dundee. I wasn't there today but I suspected that without Foran it was going to be difficult. Especially as Morton were going to do there utmost not to concede. As to Nick Ross I think he must have something to be given a contract and to have started today. Butcher see's something in the lad. Maybe, just maybe, his performance was more to do with first start nerves than anything else. I live in hope anyway.

County V Hibs
Hibs 1 - 0 County (Rankin 90 + 3 from 42 yds out. Seriously I'd like to wish County well on their journey to the big smoke.

Nick Ross & Graeme Shinnie
One of the many positives from Butchers time at Motherwell was the way he brought youngsters through. if the lads show the right attitude they'll get their chance.

Club shop
Shop times are normally 10 am - 4 pm but with only one person involved, and her having other duties, she may have been very busy. I believe RC tickets can also be purchased from Vicky park. For Rod Stewart raffle call Tabitha on 227453 or e-mail [email protected]

ICT fan's Old Firm preference...
The surroundings where I was brought up were predominately Catholic and therefore Celtic supporting. Having said that I never experienced bigotry until in my teens and away from home. Thats when I chose not to have any affiliation to either. Living in central belt, and until the formation of ICT, I would spend some saturdays at Brockville. Nowadays I cant stand either of the OF, partly for what they stand for but, mainly for their control over, and ultimate destruction of the Scottish league system.

Dundee getting the jitters?
Now there's nae denying you's outplayed us for long spells but surely a team with no "fight and drive" would have lain down at 2-0 down with 15 mins to go,no? Your first goal a rebound of the wall and a well directed shot from Kerr. Your second a haphazard swipe and a cruel deflection. Dee, even you must admit that apart from that there was no real desire to attack.

Dundee getting the jitters?
Many a club has fell by the wayside thinking they could buy a team. The amount spent on players, or the wage bill, has been proven on numerous occassions not to bring success. Only to destroy a club. The team that wins this league will be the team that has gelled together and has the fight and drive to go the whole way. Something that was severely lacking last saturday among the Dundee squad was the fight and drive. There's still a long way to go but the best, most consistent and most fired up, team will ultimately go up.

Dundee getting the jitters?
Deleted as I got me fixtures mixed up.

Thats the last straw now
The way direct debit works. You permit a company to remove funds from your bank account. If on the date there aare insufficient funds your bank may refuse the transaction. At this point the company and the bank must notify you of this and, usually, the company make contact by phone and give you the chance to pay of arrears. Many companies will try again the following month and attempt to take two payments. Again the insufficient funds scenario can arise. It may also be that the company never attempted to remove the funds from your account. In which case you can take it up with them. As the payment scheme was set up by an independant company on behalf of ICT then ICT are not the ones to blame. That company will have informed them that payment had not been made and requested them to confiscate the book. This company may well have paid ICT up front. At the end of the day its the purchasers responsibility to ensure payments are made.

Who ate all the pies?
The club would make money. Charge a pitch fee for the vans as a percentage of their income.

Catering issues at ICT [official]
I've been to most of the grounds in Scotland that use Lindley catering and the same problems arise at all of them. ISSUE: They frequently run out of food. ISSUE: The quality of the food is diabolical considering the price being charged. ISSUE: They hire very young adults with little or no experience and expect them to cope during the fifteen minute rush. ISSUE: They are extremely slow at serving. I could go on but, as I said, this is not unique to TCS. This is the way they operate at other grounds. Some folk complained about the quality of pies pre-Lindley but in all honesty they were far superior. And so was the service.

Best and worst grounds...
For facilities, atmosphere and a fantastic night out it has to be Estadio Vicente Calderon. For unfriendly people and atmoshere. Ignorant bar staff in the nearest pub etc then Ayr takes a bit of beating.

Judgement Day (Again)?
If we dont start turning draws into wins and winning at home there's no chance. Four home wins out of eleven is not good enough. There's still a possibility of the title but those homes must count.
