Don, we all know the stupid people.............and fans or clubs don't spring straight to mind. Politicians hire spin doctors to write legislation in such a way that no two people will interpret it in the same way. The rest of us are all left to carry out the debate. Too much of our laws and legislation is born out of knee jerk reactions to an incident without proper thought for the consequences to the many sensible people in the country. The example I use when discussing this is Hillsborough. Because of some pitch invasions, not least the tartan army at Wembley, legislation was passed that fans had to be segregated from each other and the pitch. High cagelike fences went up at every ground. Did anyone stop and think of the consequences if an incident occured within those cages. It took a lot of lives to get that legislation rescinded.

To be fair to County I think its great that there is a relationship between them and us that is benificial to both. County are bringing through a fair few youngsters with ambition and promise. Sadly, its Counties financial difficulties that are forcing their hand on this but there could be great opportunity for us to blood some of our youths on loan and there will always be a Rankin or Cowie waiting to break out of Dingwall. And without meaning to turn this into a Clach thread I think the same sort of relations could be nurtured there. They develop potential youngsters who may fit into our system, we send some of ours on loan to develop match experience.

Depending on design, number of colours and number of letters you'd likely be looking at the best part of a grand David so I'd imagine that idea to be way down the line of priorities.

By the way, is there anyone travelling up on Edinburgh train tomorrow morning.

The flagpole issue is a police one. I've seen older persons buying flags outside Hampden and the police asking them to leave the cane pole outside the turnstyle yet those same police allowed a small child in with his cane. When questioned about this apparent inconsistancy the policeman said he took the decision that the small child would not be likely to use his flag and cane offensively. Whatever happens in the future caley4life you are going about this the right way by creating prior dialogue with the club representatives and I'm sure that, provided you and your mates are showing a responsibility as well as a passion in creating the right support and atmosphere, those representatives will be sympathetic and show the same support towards you. Never be disheartened by a refusal and always be prepared to compromise.

Two years ago the lad was a part-timer. I believe he played a striker role at Clyde. Unfortunately, in his time there, the whole team have been pretty poor so I wouldn't judge him on that. He played half a game on saturday and I thought done very well. I think left wing could be his best position for us. He has some pace, but needs to work on it more. He's strong and is not frightened to run at defences. I believe he will fit in well with our squad and systems and I see him making a name for himself at ICT.

Great report Mannie. All those weel kent faces coming to an ICT reserve game too. Rae......seeking permission to take a couple of players on emergency loan was maybe eyeing up whats available. Its been mentioned on another thread.........Richie wants to try and win another contract at ICT. Failing that he may cross the bridge or find another career. He does not want to leave the area.....for family reasons.

Get Richie Hart back in a centre mid role

Hibs aren't playing as well as they were at the start of the season. Aberdeen have become dire. Falkirk cant seem to score goals. Killie are at rock bottom and dont look like getting anywhere other than bottom three. I think we can beat Hearts at home so top six is still a strong possibility. With 9 to go Celtic would be the only ones I dont think we'll overcome.
