Big Jim Leishman
What a nice guy he is and a credit to managers all over. In all the papers today he is full of praise for ICT, not just as a club but as a culture. He says we are the blueprint he is going to follow to, hopefully, bring success to Dunfermline. Thanks Jim, those sort of comments can only be good for our club.

Barry Wilson...My Hero!!
And from the Daily star: Barry Wilson was Craig Brewsters last signing for Inverness - but he reckons his Highland mates shouldn't follow his former boss to Dundee United. Any close season recruits for the Arabs would strike a better pay deal but Wilson is certain they would be happier staying and playing at their Highland home. Brewster has targetted Brown, Dods, Black and Dargo for Tannadice. But veteran Wilson who defied his 34 years to turn in a vintage performance at East End Park, declared, "I dont want that to happen. Everyone hear is under contract, so they would have to pay money. "Our board have been great in the past if a player had a chance to go and better himself financially - and I think that move would come into that category. "But theres no question at the minute Inverness are a better side than Dundee United. "I'm not trying to be controversial, but its a fact. We have finished above them in the league in the past two seasons. "Financially it may be a better move, but on the football side?" He added, "this is a club that brings out the best in players. "No disrespect to Dundee United, but that probably hasn't happened there it the past couple of years. "Hopefully Craig will change that but at our club people get a chance and that shows in their play. "The board looks after us well and I cant compliment them highly enough" Indeed, Wilson revealed the directors have shared out the cash raked in from finishing best of the rest. The highland brigade responded by winning all of their last five games since the split - without losing a single goal. And theres nothing like a few extra quid to help the players on their way. Wilson added, "the effort from the lads was fantastic to bounce back from the disappointment of not finishing in the top six to make it five wins in a row - and with five clean sheets. "It speaks volumes from the players, who also realise the financial importance of finishing seventh". "Its not a big secret that we are not the highest paid players but we get good incentives from the board. "With every position we increase the board give us a fair share of the money. Our bonuses make up a large percentage of our salary and I think sometimes that shows. Caley Thistle have climbed the SPL ladder since winning promotion and Wilson is ready to take another step forward. He said, "We have now established ourselves as a decent Premier League team and at no stage in the past two years have we looked like being relegated. "If we can keep the nucleus of the team and if Charlie gets two or three players in the close season there's no reason why we cant do that". Wilson will certainly be around in Inverness colours next season, even though his decision to stay in the highlands has been something of a secret. He explained, "I signed another years contract in january and it will be year to year. "I have no problem with that and I definately think I have a couple of years left yet. The club have been good. I have a year and at the end of the year we will discuss it again. "They have given me a benifit game as well, so thats something to look forward to at the end of next season.

Supporters Trust - Response to Alex MacLeod
CD, I have no problem with airing views about the Trust if its a thread opened specifically for that purpose. What I do object to is the use of a thread raised on a particular matter to fire snide remarks at one particular member of the Trust committee. DJS is a committee member, and probably the only member who posts on this board. Once or twice you have posted a sarcastic comment right after he has posted something. This says to me that your problem is against the individual and not the Trust as a whole.

Treatment of disabled fans at TCS
CD, you are an intelligent person and normally very sensible in your postings so why do you find it necessary to use, what is a serious forum, on a serious subject to fire sarcastic remarks at the Supporters Trust. Ive noticed this in other threads and, to be honest, I, for one, am getting p***** of with consistently being reminded of your little public vendetta against the Trust.

Manager of the Month
Cant count the last five games for MoM. Two of them were played in May. We lost our first two games in April so cant see the powers that be looking favourably to be honest.

Intertoto back on??
Is competition not an excellent way of preparing for the new season? When this competition was first mentioned it was suggested that there may be a second spot for Scotland. Something to do with Portugese teams not entering.

Treatment of disabled fans at TCS
I think, going on from Scotty's post, that it would be an excellent idea for the trust to get involved in this. Set up meetings with those affected and the club. A problem such as is being experienced can easily be sorted by communicating, in the first instance, and by some very easy low cost alterations. e.g. bus shelter type enclosures pitch side, perhaps at each end of the dugouts. This is the sort of thing that I would expect the trust to get involved in. It is, after all, in the interest of the club and their relationship with the greater community to be more responsive to the needs of those less able. We should all take an example from our temporary home at Aberdeen. They have areas for wheelchairs, with ramp access, at the front of the main stand and, providing the police and stewards keep out of the way, the view from here is excellent. I know this because when I was on crutches last year I was directed to this area. And whats more, niether myself or my carer (wife) had to pay to watch the game.

Treatment of disabled fans at TCS
Devlin. your first post on this thread was not the most clear in relation to the title of the thread so I'm not surprised at some of the responses you got. However, that is no reason for the treatment you and your client appear to have experienced. As a carer you should be aware of the actions you can take if you feel your client is being unfairly treated by this club. Some of your complaints refer to the treatment of your client by individuals. i.e being stared at by children. Sadly that is a fact of life and of the society we live in and not unique to ICT fans. This sort of treatment is a legacy of the days when disabled persons were hidden away from the mainstream community. Thats not to say its right but people need to be educated into being more considerate and that takes time. As to your complaints against the club. You should be aware that such treatment is illegal under the equal rights act and as such, if you make formal complaint there is a legal obligation for the club to act. One question. If not at pitch level, where could your client be positioned? Anywhere involving stairs could be detrimental if a major incident were to occur. Football stadia are not obliged to provide means of access for less able people to the stands. Devlin, I admire you for given your time to make this persons life a bit more enjoyable and I can empathise with your situation but I would suggest that, in the first instance, you make official complaint to the clubs managing director and not on a fans forum. If you are abused by individual fans at a game then there are police in the stadium who must act on any complaint.

Well done CC and the team
Agree with sam. The club was given quite a bit of stick for appointing Charlie. I hope the doubters are prepared to take back their comments. In my opinion Charlie, once he got going, has done a better job than our last manager done. Well done to Charlie, Parky, all the coaching staff, players, groundspeople, sponsors, office staff and the board and shareholders of this great club. And a very big well done to the fans who believed and stuck by. May it all be surpassed next season. And I look forward to being involved again next time.

brews wish list
Think it may just be wishes for all on the list. The grocer has announced that he hasn't the money to pay off the overpaid underachievers and getting rid of them is crucial to bringing new blood in.

Mowbray to Middlesboro?
My work colleague, a Burra man, reckons they'll go all out to secure O'neil but Mowbray would be their second choice.

Which players are being moved on?
caleyboy, I dont know who you are, where you are or anything about you so I would certainly not hurl the kind of personal abuse at you as you have hurled at me but one or two points of info for you. The 'young team' I refer to is the lads who were initially signed on what is the equivalent to the old 'S' form. Craig Brewster signed 6 or 8 lads on full time contracts before he left the club, two of those, if I remember right, came from Elgin and are thought of as good prospects for the future. As I said, you dont know me, nor do you know the people I meet up with now and again, some of whom are in the know. If you followed this, and the previous website you would realise that my support for Fox is 'tongue in cheek' and generally aimed at particular members of this site, although I do sponsor the lad. What two boys did I say put no effort in. Finally, no I didnt play football at their level, though I did play shinty at a high level. Simply because that was the main sport where I lived. Though I have followed football for a very big percentage of my reasonably long life.

Team Vs Falkirk
ictrmd, whats wrong with Fox then. Like a lot of the players you list the guy needs proper first team experience, and supporting fans, to boost his confidence and bring out his ability. Being totally negative towards him aint helping any. Its not so long ago that he was the 'super-sub' hero of this team and hailed by everyone for getting us out of the mire. Give the guy a break, he's as deserving as anyone else on the fringes.

Pre season to Italy
CC had mentioned it in one of the papers. Might have been Highland News. Said he'd been there with Celtic and facilities etc were what he wants but is waiting on costings.
