  1. How the hell are we sneaking in to Europe. We are the team in third place. St J are the ones who have to catch us.
  2. Does anyone remember the numbers of the half time draw. I was stuck in pie queue and mised them.
  3. Sounds quite serious, as he's left the stadium on a stretcher taking oxygen. Not a good sign for him or County. I wish him well (but not before next week's game!!). Think St J might just be willing to let him out of his agreement now.
  4. Is that the same players who chose not to acknowledge the support before going up the tunnel.
  5. We are in Europe. I dont believe County will win today. Motherwell want revenge for the 3-0 battering they took at Dungwall. Nor do I believe St Johnston will beat Motherwell.
  6. The name of a stand doesnt normally generate interest from business nor income. If it did then it would have been done. The name of a stadium is a different matter.
  7. Probably because an appeal could result in worse punishment bearing in mind its the second time the lads been cited by SFA for simulation. He was also yellow carded for diving in january.
  8. **STOP PRESS** Butcher Declines United Job Inverness Caledonian Thistle has revealed exclusively that thier manager Terry Butcher will not be taking up an offer to take over from retiring Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. A club spokesperson acknowledged that the board had given permission for talks to take place between Terry and the chairman of Manchester United. However those talks broke down when United were unable to meet certain conditions requested by Terry. It is believed that Terry's first move in charge would have been to loan out one or two high profile players to Inverness for next season, something the United board could not agree to. They also failed to agree on the transferance of the scenery between Inverness and Invermoriston claiming that such cross border exchanges were beyond even the powers of the biggest club in world football. The spokesperson said that although Terry was disappointed that such simple conditions could not be agreed he was happy to have rejected the offer and will now commit the remainder of his career to building an Inverness club to rival that of Manchester United. Terry himself was unavailable for comment as he was travelling to London to cast an eye over a couple of players in tonights Premier League clash between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. The spokesperson added that there would be no further press releases on the subject as the priority now is to build for the Europa Cup competition.
  9. Terry spotted heading south from Inverness
  10. Like Stuart McCall?
  11. Difficultone to call this week. I'd stick with the same line-up that started against Motherwell but the Rave is available so where does he slot in? This will also be Forans last game of this season as he's suspended for the County bash.
  12. According to Inverness CT facebook the following were released:- Kyle Whyte, Matthew Murphy, Andy Skinner, Ryan Watson and Stephen MacKenzie
  13. Hopefully Mr Marsella has that in hand
  14. Every year there will be players at the end of their apprenticeships who will not be offered professional contracts. Thats the nature of things at all clubs. I dont know what the selection criterea is for any that are kept on and have never seen too many of the youngsters play to say how good or bad they are but I do believe we do everything we can to help those released in finding employment. I'm sure the lad will go on to do, at least as well, as the many others we've let go over the years.
  15. So no changes to the SPL voting policy. One league body is a must but who's going to be left jobless and how will they decide who's running the league?
  16. SPL Press Release At an all-club meeting earlier today at Hampden Park, the 12 Scottish Premier League clubs unanimously agreed on a package of measures that would deliver a merged league in time for season 2013/2014. The principles include: - a single merged league of 42 clubs, in line with the stated preference of SFL1 clubs - a 12-10-10-10 divisional structure - an all-through distribution model involving substantial redistribution to the second tier - a ‘pyramid’ for the entire game - play-offs involving team 11 in the SPL and teams 2, 3 and 4 in the division below A formal proposal to deliver the above will be brought back to the SPL clubs for voting this month. The SPL looks forward to working with the Scottish FA and Scottish Football League to deliver vibrant change for the game as a whole. Chairman Ralph Topping commented: “I am pleased that SPL clubs have today agreed on a way forward for the game in this country. We have tremendous sympathy with the SFL1 clubs and their plight and with their shared ambition for a 42-club solution. Much work needs to be done in a short space of time to achieve our objective of a single merged league this summer. But, where there is a will, there is a way. The time for action is now.”
  17. Is it not already the Jock MacDonald stand
  18. Dont you mean Police Scotland?
  19. Charlie Christie has been called up to the Scotland squad to compete in the Seniors World Cup in Thialand in June.
  20. £1.52 million for third and £1.36 million for fourth. Thats assuming the figures bandied about at the start of the season are still in place and haven't been affected by changes to TV deals. Also assumes this article to be accurate http://melvillesmusings.wordpress.com/2012/06/14/spl-tv-deal-post-rangers-fc/
  21. He can maybe be blamed for a few things but this isn't one of them.
  22. So Neil Doncaster requests a chat with Terry before the awards dinner tonight and people link it to a boring Div 1 / Championship Yorkshire football club.
  23. Yep. Its rectangular in shape and has a variety of white lines.
  24. SFA suspension list, out today, has Chris Hogg suspended for one U-20 game so he is available on saturday.
