Pre-Season Friendlies
This is the first game me and the kids have seen this pre-season. Good to see some of last years experienced players and introducing some new talent. To be fair, my kids got bored in the second half when the 4th goal went in ( they are quite young) , but they did get a high five from Shinnie as he headed off the park, so they were happy. Others around me not too impressed by the new signings, but Kel has a knack of getting the best out of people, so time will tell. I do agree with some that County looked miles better and full of fight, and we looked well off it. Hoping for a reaction against Cove on a Tuesday night.

Maybe, But having watched that sh1t show its hard to 'unsee'.- World Cup
Yup. Same ref, I think and same terrible performance.- World Cup
That has to be the worst referee ever. No surprise to find out he was the referee for Scotland v Morocco game. Soccer guy was on to him. "The Mexican nation had took the 3 points off of Doucheland to make the Sweet 16s, but just wanted to go say mean stuff about the French guys’ moms and do a bunch of felonies all game. The sheets went unstained until two quarters of the way through the second quarter when fresh from the subshack Desire Dude was felonized inside the danger box zone. Some Paraguy deefense guy tried felonizing the deathstrike plate with his cleat, but Mmmbop inserted, tying things up with MexDemp for the golden cleat. With the Cocks ahead, the Paraguys did a bunch more felonies but the referee, who should maybe go read some books on the rules of soccer some more, kept his major felony card outta sight.- World Cup
Glad to see the back of Paraguay, nastiest team at a World Cup for decades.- Yesterday
- ICT Squad 2026/27
Trialist 15 was Kerr Smith. Formerly of Dundee United, recently released by Aston Villa. Looked ok until 4th goal......- Pre-Season Friendlies
This game is the dodgy uncle that nobody should ever talk about, and instead we just pretend that it never existed.- Pre-Season Friendlies
Pre season friendlies are ‘Exactly what it’s says on the Tin’. Unless there was a particular player or team I was wanting to see I tended to give them a miss as they are normally hard work on the eye. 0-4 to our close neighbours serves some purpose I imagine in that it’s a clear wake-up call. To use one of Kells post match comments - He’s learned a lot today and we need to be better attacking and defining. Good, that’s the objective! Expected improvement to follow. bc- Pre-Season Friendlies
I have now!- Pre-Season Friendlies
Anyone else heard the rumour the east fife game might be played at grant Street again?- World Cup
Cabo Verde were brilliant. They weren't just putting everyone behind the ball, they attacked in numbers when they got the chance and ended up winning 8 corners and having 16 shots at goal. Argentina were hanging on at the end. One stat I heard was that the Cape Verde goalkeeper has completed more successful dribbles in this world cup than Ronaldo!- Pre-Season Friendlies
Think Scotty has been influenced by the Steve Clarke school of tactics! That was awful. ' Bit to go ' Hmmmm lomg way to go! And i heard that the big guy Kargbo has signed a 1 yr deal...- Pre-Season Friendlies
No lies being told to the old man, we were terrible and let County run the show in the second half 😬- Pre-Season Friendlies

Anyone know what the attendance was? Seemed like a really good turnout.- Pre-Season Friendlies
Sent me the stats, 8 shots, ZERO on target.- Pre-Season Friendlies
A disappointing afternoon, and a lot of work to do before the competitive games start. County deserved their win, particularly as they bossed the second half with the wind advantage after a first half that was quite even. For me, Chin was the difference. We just couldn’t handle him whilst we’d no one who could trouble County. Too often, we were sloppy in possession or lost the duels for 50/50 balls, and County seemed hungrier. A lot to do before 1 August (and ideally before next Saturday as we could do with confidence boosting results in the cup).- Pre-Season Friendlies
Pah! Only a friendly to gain match fitness...but...shite result all the same.- Pre-Season Friendlies
Dingwall grandkid just called to say ict had zero shots on target. Is he right or extracting the urine out of the old guy.- Pre-Season Friendlies
Psychology - convince Ross County that they will walk League 1?- Pre-Season Friendlies
Im hoping that "big No 20" isnt playing for ICT?? And any team that likes to **** about at the back, deserve to get pummeled. It really is the biggest turn off in the modern game.....yet so many do it. I dont get it at all- Pre-Season Friendlies
Time to go home now... 47’ | 0-1 Good move from ICT as Adam Mackinnon sees his effort go over the bar and behind. 51' | GOAAAAAALLL COUNTY! Jamie Lindsay fires home on the volley! What a hit! 53' | GOOOOOAALLLLL COUNTY! Adam Emslie slips it home after some brilliant work down the right from, Richard Chin! An avalanche of substitutions around the hour mark slowed County down from scoring for a bit... 70’ | 0-3 Good ball from Luis Longstaff is headed over by Morgan Bates 76’ | 0-3 Luis Longstaff’s corner finds Shae Keogh in the box but his header is over the bar. 82’ | 0-3 Ross Munro produces a good save to keep out Kieran Phillips 86' | GOOOOOALLLL COUNTY! Keiran Phillips sprints through the defence and slots home! FULL TIME: 0-4 We were Gudgied, time to go and hide for a day or two.- Pre-Season Friendlies
Not impressed so far. ICT need to treat this a bit more seriously in my mind, County sharper and bossing midfield. Too much back and fore across the back. The big no 20.... I've seen a granny on a zimmer quicker. - Pre-Season Friendlies
