*If Tokely is out injured, stick Imrie up front with Hastings at left wing or Lionel to replace Tokely with Vigurs coming in infront of Black.

Partick seem to be big on the 3-5-2, so with 3 up-front, they have to keep the denfender back at all times. If Lionel uses his pace and joins it to make it a front 4 then they'll have to keep more back (if he was played in this position he'd be a real handful I reckon). Esson in goal, Proc right back. Duff centre-back and Munro left-back. The midfield three of Cowie, Black and Imrie, with big Lionel just infront, for some presense in the midfield and so he can knock it on to the front three. Wood up front as the target man, Rooney to knock it in and Tokers right forward to jazz around there as well (know there's a thought, Roscoe and Lionel unfront, hmm). There you go, makes complete sense.

Biggest thing will be whether Cowie or Black plays as that will give an indication of how likely we are to part with them in January. If they play they are cup tied and thus their value to any potential SPL suitor is less.

Looks like the game will come too soon for Madduks but I would be keen to start with the same team that are going to face Hamilton as we have not played the same team and formation in 2 matches in a row this season and I believe that is fueling our inconsistency

Could be a very interesting line-up today and hard to pre-empt whether Brewster will throw in new guys in a hope that it scuppers any plans Partick might have formed from watching us recently or if he'll go with the players he knows in a hope that the cup atmosphere lifts them enough to get the result.

Given that our team couldn't beat an egg and desparately needs freshening up, I really hope he sticks some of the new guys in.
