No More Mr Nice Guy

I see that by recent comments that Tel is beginning to understand that the advice he has been getting from the muppets is flawed and biased - At feckin last he appears to be starting to make his own decisions and changing things. I would hope that he will chop out some of the dead wood in the next few games and play his own players and his own system.

Hamilton has to be three points and the only way to do it is by playing an attacking system - no Imrie up front - Foran forward with Morais - no Zadi - add Vigurs and play it feckin wide.

To be fair, it does not take a player an awful lot to shine a bit above the rest of our team, at the moment.

Imrie had his shining moment and unfortunately now feels he is a big fish in the small pond, being ICT. He is waiting for big things to happen in the window but ... he has energy, he is willing to run, is he a team player??

Legend in his own lunchtime comes to mind.

Dougie has to be led back into the fold and I do feel there is a good footballing future awaiting him, both with ICT and if he moves on but he has to finish his trade. I feel he has good teachers in the current management team and their experience and enthusiasm could offer him a super road to being a better player.

He has to dig in now for the next few games and prove he is a team player, as some supporters feel he is now off the boil and is playing for Dougie and not the team.

He could be the difference between us watching the dog fight or being part of it!

The difference can be summed up in one word--character.

The question is " does D Imrie have it ?'

New management team ???

You would think with they way things are this would make him better? Or is it because now everyone seems to be pulling their weight and working as a team he doesn't look as good?

Maybe Terry & MM like there strikers to play a bit different and Imrie is not use to it. I think brewster would have done better with Imrie than what Terry and MM can do with him but then again there both defenders so they can tell the strikers about the defenders and what things to look out for

you mean like Brew did with Barrowman, McCallister and our other strikers? Brew could play but i didnt really see any evidence that he could coach strikers to emulate him!

i believe TB and MM will know how to get the best out of all our players, or at least hope so!

In fairness to Brewster he did a good job with Dargo. Dargo was a bit of a misfit at Kilmarnock and we turned him into one of the most prolific forwards in the SPL. I suppose Brewster would think of that as a success story would he not? Mind you Dargo had played SPL football before...
