RIP sir bobby robson

first we lose a legend in music(michael Jackson) and now we have lost a legend in football(sir bobby robson) Very sad.

Saw him on tv at the charity game between the 1990 world cup teams (England Vs Germany) just last weekend.

He did well to keep active in management till only a few seasons back. He had a decent innings.

RIP Sir Bobby.

Fought Cancer 5 times - bless him!

A true Gent that will be sadly missed!

RIP Sir Bobby!

Footballs lost one of it's greatest legends.

R.I.P Sir Bobby Robson.

sad day

one of the few English Managers that everyone respected (I certainly did), you could tell he had a genuine love for the game and always wanted be involved in one way or another

RIP

Aye, I'll second what Mr Chibber said. One of the good guy's.

So as an Ipswich manager, was he a mate of Big Terry's then?

Must have been considering he made TB captain of England

Yes, thoughts are with his family of course. I always enjoyed listening to him, full of admiration, and he made Alex Ferguson seem like a novice, of which im sure Alex F would readily admit himself. An amazing man.

I have no doubt that this will also hit our own Terry Butcher hard too.

One of the many great teams that Bobby Robson put together....Wark, Burley, Brazil, Butcher, Mills, Gates, Mariner, Thyjsen, Muhren, Cooper, Osman etc - Robson once said that Kevin Beattie was one of the best players he ever managed and he managed many great players....
