Injury Update

Bad news for Jamie Duff, he will require a cruciate ligament operation and will miss the rest of the season. He was injured in the NoS cup win at Wick.

Dougie Imrie has had his plaster removed.

Eric could start back running in around three weeks.

Unfortunate news regarding Duff, but positive news about Dougie and Eric, although they would appear to be a long way off being ready to play.

Barrowman played a subs part at Partick, and will be looking to regain match sharpness.

Info from the Courier.

Thanks Doc!

Bad news for Duff as he is so young he may not recover  but I hope he will :021:

I don't see any reason why he won't recover. In fact he's probably the right age to make an excellent recover, he's not "so young" anyway. It's usually when they're getting on a bit that these injuries become career ending.

Nice to see Dougie at the nos final yesterday walking normally no plaster/crutches etc (Had crutches at the Partick game). Hopefully will be back soon as I think the team is missing him.

  • 3 weeks later...

Any fresh updates on our Dougie & Eric anyone ?

Last I heard was that Eric was a bit ahead of Dougie and had returned to training. We should see him back soon and hopefully dougie won't be far behind

as dougie is my nephew i will find the story let you all no what update is..

Said on MFR on friday that Dougie and Eric have both returned to training this week

I'm led to believe Imrie will be back in about 3 weeks.

sounds like Dougie and Eric will be back long before cup final. Will be great to have more players to choose from.
