Brothers

I was listening on the radio to a feature about the 4 Jacobs brothers, who all play for Livingston. Triplets plus one.

Two of them have played together in the First team so far, but with limited resources at Livi, you can't rule out the other 2 being called upon as well, which would surely set some kind of record.

I don't know their background, but when they were interviewed they all had an interesting South African/Irish/Scottish accent.

Are you sure they're not Geordies?

I can better that for number of blood relatives all playing for the same club (although not football).

8 of my lot...3 sisters, 1 brother, both parents, 1 nephew and myself have all played for the same bowls club at the same time and regularly make up between 50% and 75% of the team in any match.

Dont forget the physio... that was ma and gran

I think Ross County once fielded brothers, half brothers, cousins, a father, son, step father and an uncle.

And that was just the 2 forwards.

ha ha, brilliant
