Im delighted to see Grant hit this milestone. He's come in for fair amount of criticism over the last couple of seasons but if you look back on his ICT career thus far it has been a huge success. He was a regular in the team by the time we started to challenge at the top end of the First Division and was a rock alongside Dods throughout our first three SPL seasons in what must've been the best defensive pairing we've ever had. After Dods' departure, he took on the captaincy and, through the most difficult period in our short history, put himself in the firing line, never shirked, always gave his all for ICT. Here's Terry Butcher's take on Grant Munro today:
Grant is a marvellous captain and has had just one booking all season. He gets on with his job effectively and very quietly at times and he is a great inspiration for everybody. He has been our best player this year by some considerable distance. Grant is a player that you don?t need to look at too closely as you know what you are going to get from him - no-nonsense defending. He can also play a bit as well and he has chipped in with the odd goal.
