ERIC ODHIAMBO

'KENYAN SOCCER STAR: There may not be any Kenyans playing in the popular English Premier League, but Kin Joho is happy that a young man of Kenyan ancestry is strutting his stuff in the Scottish Premier League and getting rave media reviews. It?s 21-year-old Eric Odhiambo, who was born in England, and plays for Inverness Caley Thistle, and in whom some English clubs have shown a keen interest. ?Names such as Odhiambo and Onyango are exclusively Kenyan. We are proud to have Kenyans players in the United Kingdom,? says Joho. '

I thought his family were Tanzanian.

I thought he was from Tanzanian ancenstry. Did his brother who plays at a much lower level not play for them? I can rememer in football manager Eric used to be called up to the Tanzanian squad all the time.

You would think he could walk into the Tanzanian squad though by looking at the teams that their players play for.

Think he is referring to the surname origin and not the player.

Just like if someone played in Australia with the name McMinker you could assume his name could have links to Dingwall.

Sorted

Are the rave media reviews coming from his agent??
