Hearing that Graham Bayne has signed a 7 week contract with Wick Academy. I had heard some rumours last week that Barry Wilson was signing an ex SPL striker who was prolific as cover for their main striker who is off on honeymoon for 6 weeks, but only got the name today.

Graham certainly an ex SPL striker with many fine qualities but, unless an episode of his career passed me by completely, he was never prolific. A tireless worker though.

Has he played at all since Dundee released him at the end of last season?

I did question prolific with my source. Important and spectacular goals, yes. High numbers, not so much.

First match is tomorrow in Wick against Turriff I'm told.

Not a prolific striker but a real workaholic up front. Would never stop going. He never seems to have got back to full fitness since that ankle problem he had. Not surprised he is teaming up with Barry, theyre good pals. Good luck to him.
