Although Hartley does have experience, a decent track record up until recently and has demonstrated the ability to get a team promoted from the Championship.

When you look back at the first few early pages of this thread from almost 4 years ago, its a worry that these names will be suggested again. Many were horrific options then and worse now.

The Dundee situation goes to show once again that Inverness is the safest manager's job in football ... no amount of losses or shambolic performances is enough to require a change.
