..... Could well be Seve Lovell. With things being so tight this season between fifth and eleventh places in the league the four points Mr Lovell has deprived us off with his two last gasp equalisers could well be costly indeed.

These four points could easily end up costing us at least a couple of places in the league and the prize money that goes ith then. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that the four points will be the difference between a top or bottom six finish.

In that case, taking the combination of additional prize money and gate money we might lose into account, Lovell's last gasp efforts could well cost ICT £200,000.

The next time that we take the lead against Aberdeen late on in the match it's essential that someone is assigned to the essential tas of breaking the bstw*rd's leg !

:015: at the last line.

The rest of it makes for interesting thought, and although I would never want to see the club spending beyond it's means it does show why some are keen to push the limits of the bank balance in attempts to achieve an extra couple of league places.

My thought for the day on this point...

Is their a sensible balance of risk/reward to be found in taking on short term loans of "bigger" players with higher wage demands in an attempt to secure a top 6?

God knows what Lovell has to do to get in the Aberdeen starting XI ahead of Lee "3 goals in 19 starts" Miller

Lovell may have cost us 4 points but what about the 6 points we threw away whilst beating St Mirren (home) and Killie (home) - that may have cost us more than Mr Lovell.

I believe that Caley D has a point but if we are to attract such players even in the short term CC has to stop implying in interviews that are a team of Highland League or third division size who have have wonderously found ourselves in the rarified heights of the SPL.

Charlie's interview style is articulate and  refreshing but these self effacing references to " a xclub of our size" are not only increasingly irritating but potentially damaging and self fulfilling.

Get your calculator out then Mr Solicitor or are your a part-time accountant also? How much has Anthony Stokes cost us?, knocked us out of the cup, then scored 3 goals against us to defeat us in the league gaining one of the teams around us 3 points (in effect a 6 point swing)

What about when Georgi Nemsadze scored against us in the Scottish Cup semi, how much did that cost the club?

What about Foxy's miss against Partick at 2-1? I'm sure we could have won that feckin cup last season if we'd got past those feckin hammerthrowers first  :015: :015: :015:

Mind you we could have let it go to a replay first then taken the Setanta money, if the feckers could learn to take a penalty like Barry Wilson....

Bazza has missed a few, Thommo - now he knew how to take a Penalty.  :022:
