Small team mentality ?

You must all be getting pishhed off with it - Greedy PR disaster in regard to the Cellic tie - lets rake in ther cash cos we are going to get stuffed anyway. Lets go fer safety instead of going fer broke fer the Top Six place. Feck the loyal supporters.

Feckin rubbish is wot I call it.  :008: :008:

Not fishing here - just passing concerned comment - and the lack of response, as indicated by clacher, evidently means a resigned agreement.  :007:

Should this maybe be re-titled:-

Teams fans small mentality?

Are we going to have this thrown up every time a result does not suit?

By all accounts we did not play great, but maybe people are losing the plot with regards to who we really are..........just the small team from the Highlands.

*bite*

How are we going for "safety"?

Meaning - lets just stick to the basics and make shure that we are no lower than 10th - lets not just go fer bust and go gung ho - do or die - just feckin coast home.  :012: :012: :012:

-Who has; the team or the supporters?

Whilst the team is continually changing and evolving, unfortunately many of the supporters are not.

Caley supporters and, to a lesser extent, Thistle supporters, were used to their team winning, and always challenging for the title or whatever cup competition they entered. A bit like Rangers or Celtic supporters but on a smaller scale, and within the confines of the Highland League.

Few if any of the current crop of ICT players were involved in Highland League domination and are now doing what is necessary to survive in the SPL.

Many supporters, still remembering the glory days of Highland League Championships are reluctant to accept that our team is playing at a much higher level now - a level in which they can only hope to survive for now and are unlikely to dominate for a very long time.
