With all that's going on in the news just now, what are the fans thoughts on Muirfield Mills being a group set up in the British Virgin Islands and headed up by a trusts and tax specialist based in Switzerland?

Since the issue is avoiding or, worse, evading legitimate taxation on income and since there is no income; taxable or otherwise, to be derived from investing in ICT or, with the possible exception of Celtic, any other Scottish football team for that matter, it is a none issue and there is no point in trying to create an issue when none exists.

That looks like a lawyer's way of saying "You're talking bollox, son." (And rightly so ?)

If no tax will be paid on money invested in ICT, then perhaps we should be marketing the club as a suitable location for the super rich to put their money. 

Me thinks the board and John Robertson are more interested in Paradise Cake!

No mention was made of any impropriety. Now you mention it though, the situation does raise the question of why there's any need if there's no income and no tax benefit to be had?  Given football's history with mysterious offshore entities and the difficulties that raises with governance then surely it's something worthy of discussion?

Don't think the return would be favourable lol

I'd be astounded if the vast majority of people investing in football in Britain didn't have some sort of tax minimising in place.
