ICT Supporters Trust - Spam or Not?

This morning at 7:49 receved a email that looks as if it has come from the ICT Supporters Trust ([email protected]) which is the same as usual emails. This one had no subject and no text in thebody of the email, just a single attachment (ictst1.mp4) which appears to be a video. I say appears as I am not planning on clicking on it.

It 9:15 I received another, the only difference being the subject is "Video from the ICTST Board - watch this space".

To me this is screaming spam. Has anyone else received them, if so do the Trust have a cyber security issue?

Got it also - the one without the subject went straight to my spam, but the other arrived in my inbox.

Looks legit - sent from membermojo which is where you join the trust so likely sent out to their membership list: https://membermojo.co.uk/ictst
The email headers also look normal and show no signs of spoofing (albeit I am not a cybersecurity expert so make your own mind up). I watched the video - its a coming soon promo for an event on 10/10/2025 to relive the Scottish Cup triumph.

Thanks Scotty. No subject and no text with just an attachment is always a red flag to me. I did notice the address seemed legit, but there are some clever bad guys out there so you never know.

The e-mail and attachment is legitimate.

As soon as we realised that the e-mail had gone out without a title we reissued it.

And as the title says, “watch this space!”.

Thank you for asking the question and allowing us to clarify this.

Many thanks Robert, I'm away to click on the video now....

Well I never watched that on the TV but don't think I missed much whistle

I was a big fan when I was at school, but my kids got me a Monty Python box set a few years back and it's so dated. A tenner and it's yours. You can collect the tenner off me at the next home game.
