Translation: "GIRFUY IHE!" Looking for the green dots eh - can remember YOU having a lot to say at the time as well. Bring on the feckin red dots if they have to come - at least I stick by my principles ya CREEP - and lets not forget who almost took this club down the feckin tubes in the first place (and many posters agreed at the time)- and the other issues attached to those two seasons. And before the personal "insults" I was going to let this rest. But lets give praise where praise is due - the Muppets have learned from their mistakes and the fortunate intorduction of TB and a few other changes have brought this club up to SPL standard. They have learned from their mistakes and are becoming more and more "professional by the day" - can only be good fer the club. But some can blame the likes of me BUT we were in "CRISIS" because of inane decisions. So smack me with all the red dots ya feckin care to give me - cos if ya dont agree you are either deluded or feckin unaware of what happened. I hope that this post shows how much I actually CARE - I am eating humble pie but if TB hadnt come along and Brewster hadnt been pushed (by the fans)we may all be feckin starving.

Disappointed at the lack of humble pie munching going on in this thread (Scotty apart) but as usual, the opportunity to praise or apologise isn't as exciting as the chance to savage (no pun intended ) or lambast. Delighted for our club and in particular, our much maligned board. They stuck by their guns and ultimately, were proven to have told the truth. I hope our legal costs are huge and I hope the club pursues compensation to the very end. Our board get far more, way more, right than they get wrong. When you look around at the state of other clubs the length and breadth of the country we should be delighted to have what we have. Granted, like every institution, they get things wrong at times but for this poster, any mistakes made are far outweighed by successes. Do us good to remember that more often. As for Marius (nothing personal, only met the guy once) but like many involved in our game , the £ or $ or € comes first. He never had a burning desire to play for our club, couldn't wait to get away and took some bad advice. I await publication of the full judgement with interest (not on CAS site) as I'm pretty certain it will conclusively prove our board were 100% right and the player (and his advisors) 100% wrong. This will not be an "on balance" case. No doubt there will be more to come in the Scottish Courts but I have faith in our system too. Wait to see. Meantime, delighted that our cash (the money generated by punters going to football) will stay in our game and at our club , not lining the pockets of mercenary players or agents with no interest in our club. Well done George and Co!! PS. Make sure he coffs up for the parking charges at the airport!!!!

I've found the stewarding to have improved significantly over the past month or two. Hopefully this will see the attendances improve a bit.

I believe that this is true. No-one is perfect and we all make mistakes from time to time, but in general our boards (over the years) have steered us through some pretty tricky football and financial turmoils. I just wish that at times it had been done with less spin or at the very least spin that wasnt as shoddily created. Personally, I am not slow to give credit where I feel it is due, and conversely, I will dish out criticism as and where I also feel it is due. Based on the information we had available to us at the time, I dont feel sorry for criticising the club ... I am just happy I was proved wrong !!!! To put a positive finish on this - and it is something I have said before - I have always said that the club should just be honest with us. Give us the good news when it happens, give us the bad news when it happens, but basically give us the news (and truth) regardless of what it is. That way rumours get quoshed and facts come out and we can deal with them and then move on. The club went through a spell of 4 or 5 years where even the slightest bit of news should probably have come to us via WikiLeaks given how closely they wanted to guard it at a management level (despite it pouring out from other sources like a sieve). But fortunately, they now have an operations director who is customer focused, straight talking and more than willing to embrace the concept that fans can handle and process more information than they are used to giving out, and can also bring improvements to the table via fan/club partnerships at all levels .... hopefully that continues

It's not possible to just increase the size of the Family Section for OF games, and the normal demand for the area wouldn't(currently) justify making it any bigger on a permanent basis. Perhaps you should look at getting Season Tickets for the Family Enclosure...not sure what age your kids are, but with free U12's, Juniors at ?70 and Adults at only ?220 (?80 cheaper than anywhere else in the stadium) then any family going to more than 5 or 6 games in a season is getting tremendous value for money....in fact, if you have 1 U16 and 2 U12's...it will cost you less than an adult season ticket elsewhere in the stadium and you only have to take in 2 OF games and any 2 other games (at North Stand prices) to recoup your investment.

You don't have to go back very far. What about the first day of this season. Hayes looks like running amok first 20 mins so Ledley(?) halves him in the middle of the park and doesn't even get a card. Obviously wee Jonny is knackered and doesn't contribute much to the game after that. Also Samaras- 3 blatant handballs from the big girl's blouse, fouls awarded, but no cards. Fast forward to the League Cup tie at Celtic Park. Wilson (or Ki?) assaults and severely injures Lee Cox and gets a yellow. Imagine if big Rossco had done it instead. As for the other lot of the ugly sisters, it was only about 2 years ago that it was shown that Celtic had had about 5 decisions in their favour and the season was only a few weeks old. For example, the wee cheat Nakamura 'won' a free kick which produced the only goal of the game at Love Street. Meanwhile Rangers had suffered a few wrong decisions such as a disallowed goal at Pittodrie. If I was of the hun persuasion (which I'm not) no doubt I would be able to remember more details, but that would spoil a fine story wouldn't it. A plague on both your houses.

Wish they would stop "tinkering" and just get it sorted properly. Talking about anything less than a top tier of 16 teams is, IMO, a waste of time. If they can afford to pay larger parachute payments, they can afford to support a larger league.

May not have been in the last three seasons but Neil Lennon & Juanjo spring to mind. Lennon went down like a sack of spuds and simulated being hit in the face, the ref sent off our best player on that day ... Juanjo ! Card was later rescinded but the cheating Lennon had no sanctions taken against him. How was he allowed to make the mistake described above without being demoted ?

And good post Sorted - I hope that you are spot on but behind the scenes is a different matter - so me the books and I will eat a whole plate of Humble Pie.

I also believe that the behaviour of the Rangers supporters and their constant sectarian chants make for an unpleasant experience for many which can be enough to make them want bto keep their families well away from the game.

My last ever post on Marius Niculae - "Told you all in the first place" and dont forget that legal matters can be agreed "amicably" - out of court. Great to put this saga to bed and look to the future

As i said in the match thread I'm a Celtic fan, i thought that this would be relevant with yet another honest mistake in Rangers favour yesterday. I know most fans outside of the old firm think that the old firm always get all the decisions but i cant really think of any dodgy decisions that Celtic have benefited from over the last three seasons, now i know that they probably have benefited from some somewhere along the line but i wouldn't have noticed them as im biased in favour of Celtic however i strongly doubt that they or any other club in Scotland have benefited from anywhere near the same amount of blatantly wrong decisions as Rangers have at a time when it has been essential for Rangers very existence that they make the champions league. Now put yourself in the refs shoes, if you supported Rangers and you knew if they didn't get into the champions league they could go bankrupt would you be able to turn down a penalty claim from Rangers or would you find yourself looking for reasons to give them penalties or to chop of goals for the other team? Another thing is aren't refs supposed to be marked down for poor performances and be demoted if they keep performing badly?How then was Dougie Mcdonald allowed to keep on making mistakes in Rangers favour without being demoted?
