Do these morons not have a single brain cell between them? The country is in serious financial difficulty so they behave in a way which will the cost the taxpayer billions to clean up and which will only mean there is less chance of their neighbourhood getting better facilities. They complain about the way the boys in blue police their area and yet behave in a way which can only mean that policing will need to be tougher in the future. They steal from their friends and neighbours, destroy the liveliehoods of their friends and neighbours and take actions which cause injury and actually threaten the lives of their friends an neighbours. They are tearing the hearts out of their own communities. But how do you punish the few that will get caught? Prison will do no good. We need to get these folk forced to do some good in society so they can learn to appreciate the freedoms we have in this country - freedoms which countless people over the years have died for in our armed forces. They should be forced to do some real work in clearing up the mess they have caused and in providing services to the needy in society - after all, how can the Government pay to care for the sick and elderly when resource has to be poured in to deal with this kind of situation. If they don't make a worthwhile contribution to society then why should society make a contribution to them. Lock them up and throw away the key.2 points

I think you're probably confusing the first protests with what is happening now. This is no socialist revolution by the dispossessed but the natural order of a dumbed-down, neighbourless Britain obsessed with celebs and consumerism. Stealing Nike trainers and burning bakers (anybody make sure the flat above was unoccupied by babies or pensioners?) isn't a protest against police brutality, the cuts or racism - merely mindless opportunism by those obsessed with materialism. A right-wing rant? Nope, quite the opposite. Respect for community is left-wing (and what's left of One-Nation Tories - but they died out long ago). Curfews? The Army? Tasers? Plastic bullets? Sounds good to me. The community isn't a bunch of kids having fun stealing and burning buses (buses for *!$%'s sake - the bastion of the poorer in society) but the ones losing their jobs over it, whilst the economy goes south. But the rain is coming soon. The Arabs protested through bullets and an often fatal (literally!) heat for an end to dictators and torture. Ask these loons if they'd rather more social inclusion or an X-Box...well, it's not worth getting your hair wet when you've already get a Nintendo DX from last Xmas. For my money it went wrong with 'greed is good' and 'no such thing as society' - and that's New Labour too in case you're wondering. This is the end result.1 point

Oh dear!!!! As far as I can make out both the above terms have been banned from Pie & Bovril so why not here? Lets hope Alex Salmond and his government eradicate this so called culture problems in the future and make Scotland a more pleasant land to live in dougal1 point

I presume he is desperate to score his first goal for the club so was too eager. The guy is a worker and is new to the Spl - he needs support like anyone else.1 point

Esson Peirmayr - Hogg - Aldred - G.Shinnie Jones Hayes - Ross - Tansey - Doran Foran As I said on the tactics board, I think we've got a good attacking midfield that would allow us to play a very effective 4-1-4-1. Tokely/Hogg/Aldred - well, we're still seeing the right combination. We'll try this combination and see how it goes but Tokely definitely on the bench, ready to come on.1 point

IHE--what if Dougall believes what he wrote and that is actually his opinion? Surely he has the right to speak it bravely on here in public without us all tearing this young man to pieces every time he appears on here to express his viewpoint? ...give him a break, for goodness sake. Sometimes I wonder if I am listening to a pack of wolves surrounding a vulnerable victim, not fans of ICT willing to listen and understand that you and I, just like him, have to learn whats what over time. If you disagree with him, or me,then speak your piece so we can listen and learn from your views but please do it civilly and respect his right and my right to express what we think without vicious rancour erupting at the drop of a flipping hat. He's a human being and a fan so ease up on him and send him a PM if you are so upset by what he writes and have a personal exchange in private. In this instance there may even be a grain of truth in what Dougall says about Terry because , frankly, old habits die hard and Terry is indeed from the old school. Who are we to claim Dougall is stupid or wrong and none of us know Terry B so well that we can claim anything about whathe thinks is best for this team. Not me, for sure--- and I am 73 ---- Remember..."Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings comes forth words of wisdom."0 points

I think having a mascot is really good for the younger fans especially at a small family friendly club like ourselves You need someone who acts and behaves like a clown and absolutely everyone laughs at rather than laughs with I'd say Chorley would be a good starting recruiting base dougal-1 points

Disappointing retort - thought the mascot one was class. Back to the subject - wouldnt it be nice if one day - in the not too distant future that there is commonality between the choice of teams. That is a problem that we have had in the past - can appreciate that it may take another few games - but I am concerned that Terry and Mo do not appear to have setlled on a starting X1 and are showing signs again of sticking with certain players despite quite a lot of opposition from the supporters.-1 points
