  2. and you know the answer that will be given .... one or other of the OF have to do it every week, usually to an away venue !!! Its of the same ilk as our reaction to sides complaining about travelling up the A9 a couple of times a season .... most televised games for us are at home, against the OF so to get a single one away is a pain in the @rse, but not exactly a frequent occurence ...... just think of poor Scarlet, a 12 noon kick off for you is 7am for me but 4am for him The main difference is that we don't get a sizeable chunk of the league income to compensate for the hassle!!! TV money is like a Class A drug. Everyone gets a short term high, but we all know that it'll kill us in the long run.

  3. Begins in 2016. Great news, but what about in places like Nairn? They couldn't make it dual carriageway through there. I can't see it all being dual carriage way unless of course they make a Nairn bypass? It must by-passed, as will Elgin, Fochabers, Keith, Huntly, etc.. I expect it'll have shitloads of roundabouts like the Inverurie to Aberdeen stretch. Are they not building a bypass in the Fochabers/ Mosstodloch area already? Yes and the 1 and a half mile stretch is taking over 2 years to complete, funnily enough I spoke to a man only last week who is 91 and he used to work at Baxters, he told me that when they built the 'new bridge' in 1968 they aligned it so that the 'new road' would bypass the Fochabers high street. 43 years later I really wish that the SNP wouldnt come out with these ludicrous statements. To start dualling the A9 in 2015 and complete in 2025 and to have dual carriageway between every city by 2030. ?? So over a 10 year period around 90 miles of road will be laid, numerous bridges, flyovers and slip roads to be created on the Inverness to Perth road, whilst this is going on twice the amount of money will be required to join Aberdeen and Inverness and an Aberdeen bypass thrown in to boot with enough time to chuck up a new Forth road bridge in the evenings. I think they are losing a bit of credibility coming out with this one,its too far fetched to be believed. If they came out with an honest timescale of what they hoped to achieve year on year instead of announcing a vision, they would earn a lot more respect, sorry but I'm not getting sucked in. I think the success of the M74 and M80 has started the ball rolling but I wish they would start something next week instead of talking about what will happen after the next election. They could have Perth to Dunkeld completed by 2015 if they really wanted to. Its not a direct dig at the SNP either as I think they are currently doing better than the rest at the minute. I just feel its all talk for now.

  6. It's funny what a good voice on the radio will do! I remember a few years ago, Brewster got rid of Barry Wilson and Dennis Wyness and he was absolutely crucified on here. Now, Wilson I agree maybe had a bit more to give, but Wyness was injury prone and had been past it for the best part of three years! Munro and Duncan are essentially in the primes of their career for the positions they play, unlike Wyness and Wilson who were on the way out (at least Wilson was replaced by Morais!). I wonder if it had been Butcher who'd gotten rid of these two, then the attitude would be different? You can't always replace experience with youth, it doesn't work like that. Have you ever seen Meekings at centre-back? No, neither have I. Has Terry even? He might be a good full back but rubbish at centre-half for all we know. Sitting bottom of the league, nah it doesn't matter! And so will his. But to put it in perspective, Wyness's time had come to an end. Wilson's time was coming to an end. McBain's time had come to an end. Golabek's time ended years ago. Duncan and more importantly Munro's time wasn't over. They had much more to give and wanted to give it - and you know it. i just think more backing needs to be given to butcher by fans on this forum instead of looking at the 2 players he got rid of look at the likes of meekings, a.shinnie, piermayr, tansey, and tade, who have all done well for us so far, munro on his own would not keep us off the bottom of the league no 1 player can have that much of an effect its a team sport munro was 3rd choice centre back at the end of last season, he isnt as much of a loss as people are making out i just want to move on from this whole subject, its getting old. its a new dawn at tcs and its time to look forward and not back

    • Aaron Doran - Club Legend
Shameful: Thanks to Shane Sutherland, the generosity of friends, fans, former colleagues and opponents, Aaron has now had his operation. However it has emerged that he had posted on Instagram regarding his sad dismissal and treatment from the Board of Inverness CT who have treated Aaron in a similar way to which they have been treating the fans. Let's not forget that Aaron was due to have a testimonial for his service to the club.

    • Administration pending unless...
Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
